Connect with us on LinkedIn | X | YouTube We’re looking for sellers who want to win complex deals: You will own the Southeast and Mid-Atlantic territory, focused on companies up to $500M in revenue across manufacturing, retail, and construction. These are complex, multi-stakeholder deals that require you to create momentum from scratch, build alignment across an organization, and lead customers through ambiguity. You are responsible for creating pipeline through outbound, partner relationships, and field presence. Our inbound engine is designed to supplement your efforts. The AEs who win here are not reactive. They open cold accounts, earn trust across the business, and turn interest into committed deals. Your assignment: Build pipeline with intent - Create demand through outbound prospecting, sequencing, and targeted account strategies - Develop and execute a focused territory plan across high-priority accounts - Generate pipeline through attendance at trade shows and events, and via in-market presence Close through partners - Every deal is closed on partner paper as part of a deliberate channel-first motion - Build relationships with partners who actively bring you into deals and position Spot AI as a premium solution - Use partners to expand reach, accelerate trust, and increase deal velocity Run high-quality sales cycles - Lead multi-threaded deals across 3 to 6 month cycles for accounts ranging from $500M - $1B in revenue, building alignment across diverse stakeholder groups - Drive rigorous discovery grounded in metrics, economic impact, and clear business cases - Map and influence the buying committee, identifying champions and engaging economic buyers early - Navigate decision criteria and processes with precision, proactively addressing risks and objections - Operate with a disciplined approach to deal qualification and progression using MEDDPICC - Maintain clean pipeline, accurate forecasting, and clear next steps at every stage - Structure and advance complex, longer-term agreements across operational and executive stakeholders Who you are: - You’ve got a 3+ year track record of success (you don’t just meet quota, you crush it!) in full-cycle B2B sales - You are a proven prospector; you love the thrill of the hustle it takes to build pipeline rather than waiting for it to come to you - You’ve got a consultative approach to sales and have successfully navigated long cycles and multiple stakeholders - You embrace channel and partner-led sales motions - You are able to run multithreaded deals and engage confidently with operations leaders and executives - You enjoy meeting with customers, and are willing to travel up to 25% of the time You're an especially strong candidate if you have sold into manufacturing, construction, or retail; have co-sold on partner paper; or have built a territory playbook from scratch at a high-growth company. ** Note that candidates located in TN, NC, VA, NJ, and WA, DC will be prioritized.** This role could click if you: - Treat outbound as a core part of your identity as a seller - Prefer building a territory over inheriting one - Thrive in autonomy and take ownership of outcomes - Enjoy solving real operational problems with customers This role likely won’t click if you: - Rely on inbound or marketing-generated pipeline - Operate best in a role with heavy support and prefer to delegate administrative tasks - Are not interested in working through partners as a primary motion Compensation & benefits highlights: - Annual OTE opportunity: $180,000 - $250,000, with a 50/50 base/commission split. Lead annual and quarterly planning cycles including quota setting and capacity planning. - Design and administer territories and compensation. Create territory structures that balance workload and opportunity. Design, implement, and manage compensation plans and incentive programs that drive the right behaviors and align with business goals. - Optimize the CRM and sales tech stack. Serve as the primary owner of Salesforce (or HubSpot)—ensuring data hygiene, process compliance, and continuous improvement. Evaluate, implement, and integrate new tools that improve sales productivity. - Build dashboards and deliver insights. Develop and maintain reporting frameworks that give leadership real-time visibility into pipeline health, conversion rates, quota attainment, and rep performance. What You’ll Do. - Own customer engagements end-to-end: from discovery sprints and on-site facility walks through POC execution, production deployment, and handoff to Customer Success - Configure, test, and refine video AI agents to solve specific customer use cases in real world production floors, retail environments, construction sites, warehouses etc. like - - Work directly with customers (on-site if needed) to deeply understand their operational workflows and translate them into measurable AI solutions - Translate customer needs into actionable product insights, partnering closely with the product team to influence the roadmap while managing customer expectations around feature availability and timelines - Drive POC success by defining clear milestones, accuracy targets, and success criteria in collaboration with Sales, Product, and the customer’s operational leadership - Build solutions that can scale in production, not just demos - Make targeted product changes and platform configurations to unblock customer adoption and ship fixes and improvements quickly when the standard product falls short - Serve as the primary technical voice during customer engagements, leading problem deep-dives, conducting stakeholder interviews, and co-creating POC Charters that define scope, timeline, and success metrics - Setup A/B testing with properly defined metrics ('what matters more? - precision, recall, etc) - Build reusable playbooks, prompt templates, and deployment frameworks that accelerate future customer engagements and scale the FDE function What Excites You. - Working directly with customers in manufacturing, logistics, and construction to solve real operational problems with video AI and seeing the measurable impact of your work - Using cutting-edge AI tools like vision models, prompt engineering, agentic workflows to rapidly build and refine solutions that work in messy, real-world environments - Owning the full lifecycle of a customer engagement with real accountability for outcomes, not just shipping code and moving on - Communicating complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders in a way that builds trust and drives decisions - Being methodical: defining success criteria, scoping problems carefully, testing hypotheses, and iterating based on data rather than assumptions - Working at a rapidly growing startup where your work directly unblocks revenue, shapes what gets built, and defines how the company goes to market - Sitting at the intersection of product, engineering, and sales where the best signal about what to build next comes from the people closest to customers What Gets Our Attention. - 1–3 years of experience in working on software projects, solutions engineering, or a technical customer-facing role - Hands on experience with Javascript (required) - Hands-on experience building software products, with comfort working across the stack (frontend, backend, or both) - Strong written and verbal communication skills.
