Responsibilities This individual will be responsible for directing a regional team of five Individual Giving and Foundation Advisors in leading the strategy and cultivation of the SW Region’s major and principal gift efforts. Responsible for fundraising results on a campaign goal of $7.5 million, and for partnering with the broader National Mission Advancement team to achieve an overall goal of $132.5 million through major and principal gifts. In addition to leading their team, the candidate will manage their own portfolio, including the cultivation, stewardship, and solicitation of individual and foundation donors with seven(+)-figure giving capacity. In addition to achieving financial goals, you will be measured on year-over-year pipeline development that demonstrates long-term, sustainable growth. You will serve as an active, present, and engaged member of the SW Region’s senior management/leadership team to implement vision through direct collaboration with the Regional Executive Vice President (EVP) and Associate Executive Vice President (AEVP). - Lead a team comprising Individual and Foundations Advisors remotely and through in-person visits, travelling approximately 25% of the time. - Lead and develop a culture of stewardship and cultivation that guides donors to give at their capacity. - Complete 40 face-to-face donor and prospective donor visits each fiscal year in order to develop and manage an individual portfolio of approximately 20 individual donors across the assigned region with the ability to give $1 million or more. - Collaborate with regional SVPs and Executive Directors to develop a major giving culture and get results. - Integrate subject matter expertise into existing training, strategy sessions, consulting services, and market meetings to equip other market leaders with the skills, confidence, and knowledge needed to identify and cultivate a major giving culture within the region. Serve as Major Giving/Individual Giving expert to the Southwest Region and at the National level. - Lead by example in the maintenance of accurate and timely records of all activities in the donor database (Salesforce), reporting activity, trends, progress, and results to the National SVP Mission Advancement. Qualifications - Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience. - Minimum of eight (8) years of experience. - Minimum of seven (7) years of supervisory experience. - Experience with all areas of cultivation, solicitation, and closing sales or fundraising. - Ability to collaborate with all levels of staff, prospects, volunteers, and donors. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Experience working with complex donors or clients representing $1 million+ in revenue or philanthropy with validated fundraising or sales results at the six- and seven-figure level. - Experience centered on major gifts or large accounts, preferably supporting large-scale research, policy, and/or community issues. - Experience in identifying and developing complex major giving and/or engagement opportunities that align with organizational mission, goals, and strategies at national and local levels. - Possess and consistently display sophisticated business insight, outstanding conflict resolution and negotiation skills, crafted integrity, and an ability to recognize and align donor interest with organizational priorities. - Experience using donor relationship management software, such as Salesforce. - Ability to travel up to 35% local and overnight stay. Preferred Experience: - Advanced degree. Compensation & Benefits Salary minimum to the midpoint of the range is $158,00.00 to $239,900.00. Pay is commensurate with experience; geographic differentials may apply to the pay range. This position is eligible for an incentive, with the potential to earn up to 25% of your base pay. Vice President, Enterprise Architecture (New York, NY) Leverage advanced knowledge of computer science and computer engineering principles and will be responsible for mentoring and managing directors of engineering, engineering managers as well as software and testing engineers in the development, engineering, and overall operation of the Company’s clinical technical platform. Will also lead the Scrum teams in designing and implementing cutting-edge software projects in the logistics space and will work closely with Software Architects to set the architectural direction for the Company’s products.
