This position designs, analyzes, programs, and updates systems that monitor real-time traffic conditions. Adjusts traffic light timing in response to changing traffic conditions. This position will manage complex infrastructures, including traffic controllers and smart sensors. Develops the Synchro Model program for statewide arterial roadways. Implement traffic signal timing plans and monitor performance. Monitoring in the Traffic Operations Center (TOC) changing signal timing or signal timing plans.
