Job Summary: Independence American Insurance Company (IAIC) is seeking an Actuarial Analyst who will analyze and evaluate the likelihood of future events to reduce and manage future financial risks. Job Location: Hybrid Main Responsibilities: - Completes and interprets actuarial analysis, valuations, cost estimates, and modeling using mathematics, statistical programming, and financial theory. - Assists with the completion of rate filing documents for all states. - Researches rate filings, as needed. - Maintains and updates existing models, tools, and other files used for analysis. - May prepare reserving, forecasting, rate filings, pricing analysis, and experience reports for review. - Completes ad hoc reporting, as necessary. - Completes appropriate database work, as necessary. - Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
