Job Title: Product Analyst Intern Location: Remote Type: Freelance / Contract-Based Hours: Full-time/part-time (During semester / vacation) Job Description We are seeking a Product Analyst Intern to help teams make better product decisions through clear metrics, structured analysis, and thoughtful interpretation of user behavior. You will work closely with product, growth, and operations to define what matters, analyze trends, and turn data into practical recommendations. Preferred Qualifications - Currently pursuing or recently completed a relevant degree, ideally from leading universities such as NUS, NTU, or SMU, while still considering strong candidates from other institutions. - Strong academic performance, ideally distinction or above, alongside evidence of initiative, ownership, and analytical rigor. - Comfortable using AI tools beyond simple chat workflows to accelerate analysis and synthesis. - Strong analytical thinking and high attention to detail, with discipline in checking assumptions, definitions, and outputs before sharing work. - Familiarity with spreadsheets, SQL, product analytics concepts, and structured written communication. - Bonus: familiarity with product analytics tools such as Mixpanel or Amplitude, and basic statistical reasoning. Key Responsibilities - Define, track, and maintain key product metrics such as activation, retention, engagement, and conversion, with clear metric definitions. - Write and iterate on SQL queries, validate data quality, and ensure analyses are grounded in accurate assumptions. - Build recurring reports and support ad hoc analysis for product, growth, and operational decisions. - Analyze experiments and user behavior, then communicate findings in clear, structured writeups with practical recommendations. - Partner with product teams to translate business questions into measurable analyses and next steps. Role Description In this role as a Product Analyst at Docplanner you'll own the metrics and analytical direction for your product area, working directly with Product Directors to influence strategy and roadmap priorities.
