• Create training content for internal and external stakeholders • Develop clear, structured learning materials (modules, guides, job aids, videos, decks) • Build and maintain the Verifier Certification Pathway • Establish version control, update cycles, and 'single source of truth' training libraries • Partner with Verification leadership and field teams to identify skill gaps

• Reporting to the Executive Director, the Manager, Professional Development Courses and Consultancy will lead the development and execution of SOWC’s professional development and consultancy portfolio. • The role will focus on winning, managing, and delivering contracts for professional development training and consultancy projects • Developing, marketing, and scaling open and bespoke courses for conservation professionals and organisations across Africa. • Working closely with adjunct faculty, partner institutions, and internal and external stakeholders, the Manager will ensure that all offerings meet client needs, uphold ALU’s brand standards, and contribute to the School’s financial sustainability. • Ensure timely and high-quality outputs that meet contractual obligations and strengthen SOWC’s reputation for excellence.

• Deliver engaging and interactive training sessions to diverse audiences. • Design and develop engaging instructional materials for eLearning, virtual classrooms, and instructor-led training. • Facilitate virtual, classroom, and on-the-job training programs to enhance employee skills and performance. • Adapt training delivery to various learning styles and needs. • Create storyboards, course content, and assessments aligned with organizational goals. • Ensure training materials are interactive, visually appealing, and accessible. • Provide post-training support and resources to learners. • Assess training outcomes through surveys, feedback, and performance metrics.

• Deliver California-compliant sexual violence and harassment prevention training in accordance with Labor Code § 1429.5 • Facilitate live, interactive sessions for employees and supervisors • Ensure training materials and delivery is accessible, engaging, culturally responsive, and language-appropriate • Communicate prevention strategies, reporting procedures, and anti-retaliation protections • Provide information on company policies and internal reporting channels as needed during training sessions • Evaluate training effectiveness through participant feedback, assessments, and follow-up • Maintain accurate training records, attendance documentation, and compliance reports • Independently manage time, travel, preparation, materials, and delivery • Submit timely and accurate invoices with supporting documentation
