You’ve built and maintained complex web applications across the full stack. - Experience applying product management metholodogies and practices such as agile, user research, design thinking, or rapid prototyping. - The ability to quickly prototype ideas and collaborate with developers on equal footing. - Strong written communication skills help you make complex ideas easy to grasp and fluency in English as our business language is a must-have. Ideally, you’re also fluent in German. - Leadership that fosters psychological safety, constructive challenge, and DEIB principles. - Curiosity, openness to experimentation, and a willingness to engage in thoughtful, sometimes passionate, discussions with peers. What awaits you - The best of both worlds: the creative challenges and learning opportunities of a start-up combined with the financial stability of a “grown-up” company in a team of dedicated professionals. - The flexibility to decide from where you would like to work: remotely in a location within 2 hours (time-zone) from Berlin, Germany. - Contributing to an open source project with high visibility and transparency within the developer world (our software code is freely available on Github). - You will work with a team of experienced software engineers in continuous delivery and integration processes who love to learn from each other. - Once a year, we dedicate our "Passion Time" off-site to work on any improvements of our choice with a business impact (e.g. product improvements, marketing concepts,...) in multi-disciplinary teams. - Employee benefits such as job bikes and paid child care. - You will be in touch with exciting clients and users from all around the globe, including NGOs and other open source projects which we love to support in fulfilling their mission (such as Greenpeace, Engineers without Frontiers), corporates like Siemens, Deutsche Bahn or Audi and public institutions like German Federal Ministries.
AI Safety & Responsibility Product Safety Manager
RunwayBusiness financials got stuck in the 15th century so we're showing them today’s computers 🖥
We are building AI to simulate the world through merging art and science. We believe that world models are at the frontier of progress in artificial intelligence. Language models alone won’t solve the world’s hardest problems – robotics, disease, scientific discovery. Real progress requires models that experience the world and learn from their mistakes, the same way that humans do. And this kind of trial and error can be massively accelerated when done in simulation, rather than in the real world. World models offer the most clear path to general-purpose simulation, changing how stories are told, how scientific progress is made and how the next frontiers of humanity are reached. Our team consists of creative, open minded, caring and ambitious people who are determined to change the world. We aspire to continuously build impossible things and our ability to do so relies on building an incredible team. If you are driven to do the same, we'd love to hear from you. About the role *Open to hiring remote across the US and Europe — we also have offices in NYC, San Francisco, Seattle, and London Runway is working to develop the next generation of world models and bring them to new products and industries. This role will be a core partner to engineering and product teams, ensuring that safety review is a first-class part of the development process; not a bottleneck, and not an afterthought. This is a hands-on, high-impact role. You'll work directly on novel product surfaces—think custom avatars and world model applications in sensitive domains—and design the mitigations that allow us to ship responsibly and at speed. What you’ll do - Lead safety assessments and threat modeling for new products, with a particular focus on completely new areas for the business - Design and document safety mitigations for novel product risks, and partner with engineering to implement them - Lead comprehensive red teaming efforts for new products and existing products - Serve as the dedicated safety point of contact for new products—attending planning and design sessions, raising risks early, and owning updates to safety assessments as product designs evolve - Stay current on the evolving landscape of AI product safety, including regulatory expectations and industry best practices - Support the broader AI Safety and Responsibility team with cross-functional safety questions and investigations as they relate to product features - As part of a small, collaborative AI Safety and Responsibility team, contribute to work across the broader team as priorities and needs evolve What you’ll need - 5+ years of experience in product safety, trust & safety, risk assessment, or a related discipline at a technology company - Strong understanding of content moderation systems - Demonstrated experience conducting safety assessments or threat modeling for consumer-facing products - Excellent written communication skills, including ability to translate complex safety issues into clear, functional documentation - Comfort with ambiguity and a track record of making principled decisions in fast-moving environments - Ability to act as a self-starter, taking initiative to identify opportunities to improve or build on processes and work products - Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, including ability to build trust with product managers and engineers and integrate safety into their workflows without becoming a bottleneck Nice to Have - Familiarity with generative AI products, including video, image, or avatar-based applications - Experience in a domain with heightened regulatory scrutiny, such as healthcare, education, or children's products - Experience in a high-growth startup environment where T&S infrastructure was being built from scratch Runway strives to recruit and retain exceptional talent from diverse backgrounds while ensuring pay equity for our team. About BloomPath AI that works for the people who keep the real world running. BloomPath builds AI for frontline teams operating in complex, high-compliance environments. We streamline workflows so teams spend less time on paperwork and more time doing the work that actually matters. - We go beyond the pilot. We’re not a general-purpose AI tool. We learn how teams operate and tune our platform to fit their workflows - We meet you where you are. Our products embed into systems companies already use, like Kintone, instead of forcing new tools - We operate with trust. Security, compliance, and data boundaries are built in from day one This is AI designed for production environments, not demos. About the Role We’re hiring an Associate Product Manager (APM) based in Egypt to join us at a pivotal stage. This is not a “learn by watching” role. You will own real product areas early, working directly with customers, engineering, and leadership to build and ship features used in live environments. You’ll operate across: - Customer workflows inside platforms like Kintone - Platform capabilities that scale across customers - AI-driven features that must be reliable, usable, and grounded in real work This is not a “services” role. We don’t rebuild the product for every customer. We refine and tune a core platform to adapt to real-world workflows. What You’ll Do 1. Understand Real Workflows - Work directly with customers to understand how their operations actually run - Map processes, identify bottlenecks, and uncover opportunities - Translate real-world complexity into clear product requirements 2. Configure and Tune the Product - Help configure and tune BloomPath to feel native to each customer’s environment - Ensure the platform adapts to how teams already work, without requiring process changes - Balance flexibility with consistency across customers 3. Ship Product End-to-End - Define specs, flows, and success metrics - Partner closely with engineering and design to deliver features - Own features from concept → launch → iteration 4. Think Platform, Not One-Off - Identify patterns across customers and turn them into reusable capabilities - Contribute to building a scalable, multi-tenant platform - Help standardize what should be standardized, and keep flexibility where it matters 5. Build Within Real Constraints - Design with compliance, security, and data boundaries in mind - Work in environments where accuracy and reliability matter - Ensure outputs are usable, consistent, and trusted by end users What We’re Looking For Must-have: - 1–3 years of experience (product, engineering, consulting, or startup environment) - Strong problem-solving and structured thinking - Ability to take ambiguous problems and create clarity - Excellent communication skills (English required) - High ownership mindset Nice-to-have: - Experience with APIs, integrations, or workflow systems - Exposure to AI/LLMs in real-world applications - Familiarity with B2B or enterprise software - Experience working with distributed or international teams What Makes This Role Different - You work on real customer problems, not hypothetical use cases - You build solutions that fit into existing systems, not replace them - You learn how to balance platform scale with real-world variability - You operate in environments where trust, compliance, and reliability matter - You’ll be close to customers, product decisions, and founders from day one Growth & Development - Direct mentorship from product and engineering leadership - Exposure to customer conversations and strategic decisions - Rapid increase in ownership based on performance - Clear path to Product Manager Who You Are - Curious and practical - Comfortable with ambiguity but driven to create structure - Focused on outcomes, not just ideas - Motivated to build things that actually get used Why BloomPath Because most AI products require teams to change how they work. We don’t. We tune a platform that fits into real workflows, inside real systems, for teams that need reliability, not experiments.
