Outbound Sales Representative
MsccnWe're a global leader in providing energy solutions that help businesses grow and communities thrive. We work as a team and we’re proud of the difference we make to customers, to local communities, and towards a sustainable future for the world.
Role Description Instant Teams is hiring an Outbound Sales Representative. You’re the first (and best) impression of our fun, vibrant pickleball fitness apparel brand. Your mission is to open doors with new retail partners (pickleball pro shops, sporting goods stores, boutiques, gyms/fitness studios, clubs, and regional distributors). After opening the door, you’ll then move them from “curious” to “we need this on our shelves.” You love talking to people, you’re not afraid of a cold call, and you bring an energetic, engaging style that matches our brand. Bonus points if you’re a pickleball player (or ready to become one). Day in the Life - Prospecting & prep: Review your lead list, prioritize targets by fit and potential, and plan outreach sequences. - Outbound outreach: High-volume calling, emailing, and LinkedIn/social outreach to buyers, owners, and decision-makers. - Pitch & discovery: Quickly understand a store’s customer base, price points, and merchandising needs—then tailor the pitch. - Sampling & follow-through: Coordinate samples, line sheets, and product info; keep momentum with clean follow-up. - Close & onboard: Secure opening orders, explain terms, and ensure a smooth handoff to fulfillment/account support. - Pipeline discipline: You will be onboarded and trained in Pickleball Bella’s CRM. You are responsible for keeping the CRM activity tight (notes, next steps, stages), tracking conversion, and hitting weekly activity goals. Essential Functions - Own outbound sales to a defined list of business leads to acquire new wholesale/retail accounts. - Execute daily activity targets (calls, emails, touches) and weekly KPIs (meetings booked, accounts opened, orders closed). - Identify and reach the correct decision-maker; confidently handle objections and negotiate initial order details. - Present product story, differentiators, and merchandising recommendations aligned to each retailer’s shopper. - Maintain accurate and timely CRM records, including contact details, stage updates, notes, and next steps. - Collaborate with marketing on promotions, seasonal launches, and retailer-ready assets (line sheets, signage, social kits). - Partner with operations/fulfillment to ensure accurate orders, shipping expectations, and a great first experience. - Represent the brand with high energy at occasional events/trade shows/pop-ups (as applicable). - Using Google and AI, utilize any downtime to research and add applicable potential accounts to the lead list. These include pickleball clubs and facilities, golf and country clubs, racquet clubs, hotels and resorts with pickleball, sporting goods stores, and specialty women's boutiques (those that carry active and lifestyle apparel). Qualifications - High-energy communicator: You’re engaging, personable, and confident on the phone and on video. - Self-starter: You create momentum without needing constant direction—especially when the lead says “not now.” - Resilient & coachable: You can take “no” ten times and still sound upbeat on call eleven. - Sales craft: Strong discovery, objection handling, and closing skills; you can keep a deal moving. - Organized operator: You manage a pipeline, follow up like a pro, and keep details straight across many accounts. - Brand fit: You love sports/fitness and naturally match a playful, vibrant, community-driven vibe. - Tech savvy: Comfortable with CRM tools, spreadsheets, email sequences, and basic reporting. Requirements - High School Diploma or equivalent. - 1+ years of outbound sales experience (B2B preferred) or strong equivalent experience (inside sales, SDR/BDR, retail buying, fitness studio sales). - Proven ability to hit activity targets and drive results (meetings booked, accounts opened, revenue closed). - Strong phone presence and written communication skills. Preferences - Experience selling into retail/wholesale (apparel, sporting goods, fitness, boutique). - Familiarity with pickleball, tennis, golf, or adjacent sports communities. - Experience using CRMs (HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.) and sales engagement tools (Apollo, Outreach, etc.). - Experience attending events, tournaments, demos, or trade shows to build relationships. Benefits - Pay Rate: $19/hour plus commission. - 5% commission on the opening of the first orders. - 8% commission on reorders. - Start Date: May 2026. - Schedule: ~20-25 hours/weekly.
