We work with some of the world’s largest organizations across a variety of industries, including Financial Services, Specialty Retail, Telecommunications, Healthcare and Software, helping them to gain a deep understanding of their customers, develop actionable insights, and improve business processes. We are seeking a Data Analyst to join our team. This role provides a great opportunity for a dynamic, self-starter individual to become part of a high-performing team, and implement a hands-on approach to research and consulting, in order to help our clients become more insightful, uncover opportunities to grow their businesses, and create happier end-customers. The ideal candidate for this position is a bright, detail-oriented self-starter, with a strong analytical and technical background and an affinity to market research, who is passionate about using data to help customers drive strategic decisions and business improvements. This position provides an excellent opportunity to apply strong analytical and technical abilities to market research and customer experience and to gain expertise in working with global, Fortune 500 companies. This is a full time position based out of Spain, in a remote working model working U.S. East Coast hours. Responsibilities​ - Support in execution of quantitative research projects from start to finish: - Project design and management - Questionnaire development - Survey Programming (on an online surveying platform) - Data analysis and Visualization - Client Communication and engagement including building and delivering insights-based reports - Bachelor’s degree in Social Science, Management, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field from a top university. - Excel Proficiency - Functions, Pivot Tables, sorting & pulling data by logical conditions - A Must - Must speak and write English fluently and idiomatically - High quantitative aptitude including ability to reveal patterns in data - Familiarity with a variety of quantitative analysis techniques - Ability to build compelling insights-based reports and summarize findings - Knowledge of a statistical package such as SPSS, R, STATA, etc. - Strong Advantage - Programming - e.g., SQL, Python, R - Strongly preferred - Detail oriented with strong attention to details - Strong sense of design in structuring PowerPoint presentations - Strong technical background or experience in acquiring new software skills quickly - Independent work style, ownership of assigned responsibilities - Ability to work flexible hours as many of our clients are US based

Role Description Westat has an immediate opening for a Senior Research Associate conducting healthcare analytics, statistical programming, reporting, and task management.
