Sr. Full Stack Engineer Location: Iselin, NJ, Chandler, AZ, Charlotte, NC (Hybrid) Employment Type: 12 Months Contract Pay rate: $57.00/hr to $61.00/hr. Role Overview The Senior Software Engineer for IT Asset Management will design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack applications using Angular and Java. This role is ideal for an engineer with a background in technology infrastructure who has transitioned into full-stack development. The position involves leveraging real-world operational insight to build solutions that automate IT asset management, improve efficiency, and integrate with enterprise systems in a regulated financial services environment. Key Responsibilities - Design, develop, and maintain full-stack Angular and Java applications for IT Asset Management. - Participate in the complete software development lifecycle, from UI design to backend services. - Leverage knowledge of infrastructure, including Linux and virtualization, to inform software architecture. - Develop solutions to automate IT Asset Management processes, improving reliability and operational efficiency. - Collaborate with infrastructure, operations, and product teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment. - Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following secure engineering practices. - Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues across both front-end and back-end systems. - Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a culture of technical excellence. Required Qualifications Experience: - 4+ years of Software Engineering experience, including full-stack development with Angular and Java. - 3-5 years of hands-on experience in a technology infrastructure role such as Database Administrator (DBA), Windows/Unix/Linux Administrator, Storage Administrator, Messaging Administrator, or Network Administrator. Technical Skills: - Proficiency in Angular and Java, with an understanding of the entire technology stack. - Demonstrated understanding of the complexities of technology infrastructure and a passion for solving them with software. - Experience with modern development tools and practices, including Git, CI/CD pipelines, and agile methodologies. Preferred Qualifications - Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes. - Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or Google Cloud Platform. - A background in a Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) or DevOps role. - Previous experience within the financial services industry. - A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Compensation & Benefits The anticipated pay range for this position is $57.00/hr to $61.00/hr. This is a contract position with eligibility for conversion.
