This person must be a highly skilled problem-solver who has the business knowledge and technological expertise to implement strategies, evaluate processes, and build upon an infrastructure that supports the ever-changing needs of customers The day-to-day - Provide oversight of the solutions architects supporting the sales team. - Serve as the sales team’s technical subject-matter expert and technical escalation resource for prioritizing SA resources across the accounts - Identify and assist in developing enhancement opportunities across our customer’s enterprise through innovation - Be our customer’s go to resource for security architectures and their integration into an overall network architecture. - Develop and maintain strong relationships with our customer’s technical teams - Develop a deep understanding of our customers problem sets, current solutions, and planned upgrades - Document and maintain a database of customer use cases, requirements, and solutions - Work with customers to understand their current and future requirements - Provide feedback to internal teams including priority on the customer’s needs and requirements in order to facilitate best-in-class products the exceed our customer’s expectations - Assist our customers in the architecture, implementation, and maintenance of classified/secure network solutions that provide core enterprise infrastructure including custom implementations such as private cloud and secure tactical network connections including hub/spoke and mesh architectures - Communicate with internal team to identify needs, monitor performance, and diagnose and resolve issues with network and systems - Provide technical oversight and encryption subject matter expertise for various customer network activities, including upgrades, implementations, and migrations, offering technical direction and user support as needed - Create, update, and maintain documentation of customer use cases and network designs - Attend regular meetings with clients, contractors, and specialists, and make site visits as need to resolve issues and make recommendations on future upgrades. - Solve problems for clients by understanding and exceeding their expectations - Illustrate the value of our secure products and services to create growth opportunities; compile and analyze data to identify trends - Participate in internal brainstorming, , staff meetings, and client meetings; research and assist with network development for existing clients and new prospects - Follow up with clients regularly to ensure needs are being met and to identify opportunities - Identify, analyze, and evaluate mature and transition technologies to satisfy emerging requirements What you'll need - This position is a government position. US Citizenship required - US TS/SCI The position requires working on classified/secure government networks. - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent military education and training in cybersecurity, system engineering, network architecture, design, or related field - Ten (10) or more years of experience in government network implementation or government customer support of their networking and/or cybersecurity solutions - Experience with network infrastructure and hardware - Knowledge of infrastructure devices, including switches, routers, wireless access points, controllers, firewalls, and encryptors and where they fit in a network architecture - Professional certifications (ex: CCIE, CCNP, JNCIE-ENT, CompTIA Network+, WCNA, CISSP) - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment - Must be able to travel up to 50 percent of time (domestically and internationally), location is flexible What will help you on the job Vendor experience suggested Ciena, Cisco, Brocade, Raytheon, L3 Communications, General Dynamics, Juniper, Spirent, ViaSat , Infoblox, Nokia and many others. Additionally experience as a Network Architect, Test Engineer, Lab Manager, Network Device Hardening, High Assurance Encryption Subject Matter Expert, and Secure Solutions Architect Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) Salary range $201,500.00 - $318,000.00 / annually.
