Job Description We're currently looking for a Technology Sales Representative in our Animal Health division. Key Requirements: - Sales Performance: Endeavour to achieve and exceed the allocated monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets in your designated territory and product responsibility. - Territory Planning: Develop and maintain a territory plan that logically groups your farmers into an efficient geographical and opportunity pipeline. Understanding of local influencers, veterinarians and nutritionists who are key influencers for your core target audience – dairy farmers. - Organization & Time Management: stay on track when completing their daily tasks. Having this competency can help keep individuals on task throughout the sales process. Time management also involves planning for future sales, special occasions and other events that may impact your sales. - Account Management: Maintain a positive relationship and account plans that provide clear understanding of key influencers, sales opportunity status and insights to opportunities. Understand and evaluate farm routines and act as an advisor to recommend changes for optimization allowing for full implementation of our technology. - Product Knowledge: Participating in all required training as part of the job requirements. - Trade/Farm Show: Attend or organize tradeshows/farm shows as required and detailed within operating plan and/or territory plan. - SalesForce (CRM): document all meetings, activities, territory planning etc. as required by your management team and collaborating partners in joint account management. - Customer Engagement/Sales: Build strong, long-lasting relationships with new and existing customers by understanding their individual needs and tailoring solutions within the context of our portfolio of products and services. - Collect Customer Feedback: Actively gather and document customer feedback to measure satisfaction levels and identify and drive areas for improvement. - Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with your customer support team to receive product knowledge and upskilling to stay up to date with our evolving technology solutions. Qualifications/Competencies: - Driven entrepreneur with passion for dairy farming - Enthusiasm for agriculture and technology, with an understanding of the livestock industry. (Understanding Dairy operations is a plus and Agritech technology sales experience is a plus) - Commercially driven and track record of sales success. - Relationship builder and networker. - Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with fluency in the native language and proficiency in English - Negotiation skills - Product Knowledge, willingness to learn and the ability to understand complex products and systems. - Problem solver, analytical skills and convert to action/solutions. - Territory management, strong organizational skills, and attention to detail. - Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently and collaborate as part of a team. - Basic proficiency with CRM software and other operative tools is plus. Experience/Education - 1-3 years of proven experience in dairy farmer sales or similar agriculture sales technology, preferably in customer success, customer training, account management, or similar positions - Bachelor's degree in agriculture, animal science or equivalent work experience.
