• Researching potential leads through Google, LinkedIn, databases, and market search • Contacting and engaging cold leads • Managing clients through the full sales cycle: pitches, presentations, negotiations, and contract signing • Collaborating with legal, finance, product, and business development teams • Working with CRM systems to track and manage opportunities • Building and maintaining partnerships in key verticals: Home Improvement and Loans • Achieving KPIs, including bringing in at least 5 new partners per month
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in B2B sales
- Proven track record in cold sales (calls, outreach, LinkedIn)
- Background in Home Improvement, Finance, Loans (traffic sales preferred)
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Proactive, persistent, and resilient — able to handle rejection and keep moving forward

We are looking for a Sales Manager to further strengthen our position in the Pulp & Paper Automation German market area. As a Sales Manager you are responsible for sales of Valmet Automations Solutions to our Pulp & Paper customers mainly in East and Central Germany. Solution portfolio consists of Valmet DNAe Automation (DCS), Quality Management systems (QCS, Machine Vision, profilers) and Analyzers & Measurements as well as Optimization applications to our customers. You would be welcomed into a team of Sales Managers handling sales in the Central Europe area. Besides your sales colleagues you would be working closely with Automation Solutions Business Group providing you the technical expertise on solutions and products. Lifecycle commitment is one of our fundamentals - local service is an internal key stakeholder to you when answering customer needs. Your location is Germany (Eastern Region preferred, remote work option when not travelling), and you have the ability and willingness to travel to meet customers regularly. Main area is East and Central Germany. Your responsibilities - Leading and being accountable for sales in defined area and solutions, mainly in East and Central Germany. - Managing sales cases from the development phase into contract signature including preparation of technical and commercial quotations and delivery contracts. - Maintaining and expanding customer relationships and managing customer satisfaction. - Travelling up to 50% of working time. - Collaboration between Sales colleagues, Solution Managers and Service teams located in Germany and in Finland.
