Job Description
Client Growth Manager
AAPC
Role Description This can be a Remote or Hybrid role. This Role Is Not for Everyone. AAPC Services is scaling, and we are looking for a very specific type of person. This is not a maintenance role. This is not a “keep clients happy” role. This is a growth seat. You will own relationships, shape solutions, and directly influence revenue. You will be expected to think like an operator, act like a consultant, and partner like a trusted advisor. You will sit between Sales and Delivery and make both better. If you are the type of person who wants clear instructions and a narrow scope, this is not your role. If you want ownership, visibility, and the ability to materially impact outcomes, keep reading. What You Will Own - Growth Within Accounts - Own a portfolio of clients and be accountable for retention and expansion. - Build relationships that go beyond vendor and become trusted partner. - Identify, create, and close expansion opportunities within your accounts. - Lead conversations that move clients forward, not just update them. - Flawless Client Kickoffs - Run kickoff meetings that set a high standard from day one. - Align scope, timelines, stakeholders, and success metrics with precision. - Anticipate risks before they become problems. - Create immediate confidence that AAPC knows exactly what it is doing. - Solution Design and Deal Shaping - Partner with Sales to scope and win new business and expansions. - Lead discovery that uncovers root problems, not just surface symptoms. - Design services solutions that are both compelling and executable. - Translate complex operational challenges into clear, valuable solutions. - Ensure what we sell delivers measurable outcomes. - Trusted Advisor Mindset - Bring perspective, not just participation. - Challenge clients when needed and guide them toward better outcomes. - Connect data, performance, and strategy in a way clients understand. - Make AAPC difficult to replace. What Makes You Different - You do not wait to be told what to do. - You are comfortable in high-stakes conversations. - You think commercially, not just operationally. - You can zoom out to strategy and zoom in to execution. - You take full ownership of outcomes. What You Bring - Proven ability to manage and grow client relationships. - Strong understanding of healthcare revenue cycle. - Confidence presenting to and advising executive stakeholders. - Experience in discovery, scoping, or solution design. - Ability to balance multiple priorities. - High standards for yourself and your work. - Strong Signal Experience. - Experience in consulting, services, or Sales Engineer roles. - Background in coding, billing, auditing, or compliance. - Certifications such as CPC, CRC, CPMA, or CPB. - Experience with Salesforce, Gong, or similar tools. What You Get - Real ownership, not just responsibility. - Direct visibility into meaningful work and outcomes. - Ability to influence both sales and delivery. - A team that values performance, not politics. The Bottom Line If you are driven, commercially minded, comfortable owning outcomes, and motivated by impact, you will do very well here. If not, you probably will not enjoy this role. AAPC is an Equal Opportunity Employer. This company does not and will not discriminate in employment and personnel practices on the basis of race, sex, age, disability, religion, national origin or any other basis prohibited by applicable law. Hiring, transferring and promotion practices are performed without regard to the above listed items.
