Because this individual will plan and conduct performance audits for county government and schools in accordance with Generally Accepted Government Auditing Standards (i.e., "Yellow Book") to evaluate internal controls, risks, and compliance with local, state, and federal requirements. Staff Auditors: - Assist in planning audit scope and objectives. - Independently perform analysis, testing, and results documentation using automated work paper system. - Analyze audit results to report findings and recommendations to management. - Collaborate with team to write audit reports. This position is part of an approved Career Development Plan (CDP) and offers career progression opportunities and salary incentives, as funding permits, based on performance, qualifications, and experience.About You:Our ideal candidate will live in the Richmond regional area and possess a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field; minimum of one year of experience in audit or accounting (preferably “Yellow Book” audit or governmental accounting experience); or an equivalent combination of training and experience. • Audit outpatient claims with a focus on APC groupings, revenue codes, CPT bundling rules, and UB‑04 facility coding requirements. • Ensure accurate documentation and coding of technical components such as nursing services, equipment use, and place of service. • Verify that facility charges and resource utilization are coded correctly and independently from provider claims. • Conduct detailed audits across infusion therapy, surgical services, interventional radiology, and other hospital outpatient service lines. • Review CPT, APC, to validate correct reporting and reimbursement. • Apply Medicare regulations, NCCI edits, CPT rules, and AHA Coding Clinic guidance to support compliance. • Identify overpayments, coding discrepancies, and missed reimbursement opportunities. • Utilize encoder tools (3M, Webstrat, Optum Encoder) and EXL proprietary platforms to analyze and process claims. • Produce clear and concise audit findings aligned with official coding rules. • Stay current on outpatient regulatory changes, reimbursement updates, and clinical practice trends across infusion, surgery, and radiology. • Meet or exceed EXL productivity, quality, and compliance standards.

• Conducts Data Analysis for pharmacy benefit and contractual audits surrounding pharmacy claims. • PBM audits can include, but are not limited to pricing, plan design, rebates, eligibility, CMS Data Validation, Fraud, Waste & Abuse and performance guarantee review. • Includes gathering, implementing, executing, and finalizing audit rules and requirements from clients and PBMs into proprietary systems. • Assists with review of PBM contract(s) and contribute suggestions for improvement, based on knowledge of industry • Leverages the company’s reporting systems to conceptualize, design, and distribute both operational and analytical reports focused on pharmacy utilization and cost • Assists with developing, documenting, and evaluating the business requirements associated with data flows to and from the PBM and other vendors • Identifying issues and resolutions, and consulting management on potential solutions to facilitate critical decisions. • Generate audit reports and consult with client on the findings. • Works effectively on multiple client assignments or projects simultaneously • Plan, schedule, and track project timelines, milestones, and deliverables.

• Conduct in-field verifications by performing on-site assessments through travel to farms and ranches • Coordinate data collection and close gaps by working with producers and partners • Draft and finalize verification reports and present results to farmers • Support onboarding and training of apprentices and new verifiers • Identify issues early and escalate anomalies to the Lead Verifier
