• Oversee daily reinsurance accounting operations, ensuring timely completion of month-end, quarterly, and annual closing activities. • Review and approve calculations, settlements, and journal entries for accuracy and compliance. • Coordinate preparation of financial statement disclosures, schedules, and statutory filings related to reinsurance activities. • Analyze reinsurance results and monitor key performance indicators to provide insights to Finance leadership and other stakeholders. • Actively participate in new treaty implementations. • Review treaty terms and documentation to ensure proper accounting treatment (i.e., GAAP, statutory accounting principles) and alignment with company policies. • Collaborate with business partners across actuarial, underwriting, claims, and finance to resolve discrepancies and ensure data integrity. • Maintain SOX-compliant documentation, ensuring adherence to company policies and internal control requirements. • Collaborate with Internal Audit, external auditors, and Finance leadership to prepare and respond to audit requests. • Monitor reinsurance recoverable and payable balances to ensure accurate reconciliation and timely collection or settlement. • Partner with the Finance Systems and Data team to maintain and enhance subledger systems supporting reinsurance accounting. • Identify, recommend, and implement process and automation improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations and IT to support finance transformation initiatives designed to modernize systems and standardize financial processes. • Participate in special projects, including integrations, migrations, and regulatory change implementations. • Perform other duties as assigned to support the reinsurance team and company goals. • Manage and mentor team members, providing training, guidance, and performance feedback. • Promote a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and collaboration within the reinsurance accounting function. • Coordinate workloads to meet deliverables and balance ongoing operational and project-related priorities.

Accounting Manager You are a hands-on Accounting Manager that will build and scale our U.S. accounting operations. Reporting to the Controller, you will own core accounting activities, including monthly close, technical accounting, revenue recognition, and process workflows. This role combines operational leadership with process improvement and systems optimization. This role collaborates with a global team. Candidates must be available for weekly meetings at 9:00 AM EST. A Day In Your Life - Lead the monthly and quarterly close for the U.S. entity, owning key balance sheet areas and ensuring accurate, complete, and timely financial statements. - Review and approve journal entries, account reconciliations, and flux analyses - Support the development and maintenance of accounting policies and technical accounting memos under U.S. GAAP - Identify manual or inefficient workflows and lead automation, system improvements, and scalable process design - Develop, implement, and maintain strong internal controls over financial reporting - Support the preparation of audited financial statements and disclosures - Partner with external auditors during annual audits - Support U.S. tax compliance activities in partnership with external advisors and internal stakeholders, including sales tax and corporate income tax - Manage and mentor offshore accounting staff What You Bring - Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred - 6+ years of accounting experience, ideally in a SaaS or tech environment - Big 4 or large public accounting firm experience strongly preferred - Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP - Experience with NetSuite strongly preferred - Experience with multi-state sales tax preferred - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach - Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment - Preference for EST or CST time zones We offer several perks that include flexible PTO, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k) match, stock options, paid parental leave, and WFH and phone stipend. • Preparation of accurate investor reports including performance metrics (IRR, TVPI, DPI, RVP, etc.), NAV and carried interest calculations. • Ensuring compliance with the Invest Europe guidelines and handling ad-hoc enquiries. • Responsibility for annual financial statements including notes, close coordination with auditors, monitoring of quality and timelines as well as risk-oriented reviews. • Conduct reviews of accounting data, reconciliations and valuation checks, while continuously improving our quality assurance process. • Collaboration with product and engineering teams to further standardise and automate our processes. • Support portfolio valuations, waterfall calculations and reviews of capital calls, distributions and management fee calculations. • Proactive, reliable communication with GPs, LPs and internal teams (operations, tech). • Work closely with the tax team on tax-related matters and ensure consistency between accounting, tax ledger and investor reporting.
