Since 2011 we have completed thousands of evaluations for well-known companies in healthcare, energy, and manufacturing. We are adding a data collector to our team to help make workplaces safer. If you have 480V 3-phase factory experience we want to talk with you! Who we need: We are looking for an individual with prior industrial electrical experience to travel to customer sites and collect information on their electrical distribution systems. We expect you have experience working in well-run industrial facilities, and can read and understand one line diagrams. You should be able to identify components within the electrical distribution system and describe how they function. Following our safety procedures, you will be required to open live equipment to record data. We are looking for an individual who can work independently as well as with a team. Most of your time will be spent alone, and you must be efficient, able to manage time effectively, understand your limitations and ask for help when necessary. Although you will be alone on site, you will be constantly communicating with our team during the site visit, so there is plenty of support if you need it. What you'll do: - Travel to job sites to conduct arc flash evaluations - Open equipment and record equipment information- via photos, paper, and electronic means - Read and understand one line drawings and make edits to create accurate as-built drawings - Utilize online document storage to retrieve and upload data, as well as spreadsheets to enter information - Communicate with engineering and the customer to answer questions and ensure accuracy - Apply labels to electrical equipment - Conduct yourself professionally at all times because you are the company's interface with our customers. Be able to observe and inquire about other opportunities where the company may be able to help. - Use your brain, not your brawn, we want someone who can use their experience to accurately describe electrical distribution systems so our engineers can efficiently model them. - You’ll get to see how stuff works. From ice cream factories, to tires, to hospitals, to nuclear power plants, you will be working with a wide variety of customers whose names you will know. • Provide senior-level business and systems analyst and technical expertise during all phases of data mart/business intelligence lifecycle • Participate in data mart and business intelligence development efforts • Participate in architecture of data mart/business intelligence projects • Work with analysts, programmers, business process owners, and end-users to determine scope and requirements for data mart/business intelligence solutions • Perform analysis, database and meta-data modeling, and establish logical and physical design for reporting solutions • Develop technical infrastructure for data mart/business intelligence initiatives • Develop reports and business intelligence solutions to meet key business needs for critical administrative systems • Provide senior level guidance to other staff with report development questions and provide mentoring on report development approaches • Lead mid-sized to large technical and business intelligence projects • Provide operational support for business intelligence solutions and respond to changes required by upgrades, regulatory requirements, etc.
