• Provide engineering and design support to Project Engineers on new installation and retrofit projects for multiple clients: models, calculations, drawings, and deliverable preparation • Build and update power system models in ETAP, SKM Power*Tools, and EasyPower under senior engineer direction • Perform short circuit, protective device coordination, and arc flash calculations per IEEE 1584 and NFPA 70E • Travel to client facilities to collect equipment data and verify one line accuracy, including energized data collection under NFPA 70E procedures with proper PPE and training (5-15% travel) • Create and revise one line diagrams, schematics, and design drawings in AutoCAD • Draft study reports and arc flash labels for senior review • Participate in internal training on power system fundamentals, study methodology, and electrical safety

• Manage assigned power system study and design projects end to end: scope, schedule, budget, and client communication • Perform and check arc flash, short circuit, and coordination studies in ETAP, SKM Power*Tools, and EasyPower • Direct the work of entry level engineers supporting your projects, and review their models, drawings, and reports for technical accuracy • Lead field data collection efforts at industrial and commercial sites, including energized data gathering under NFPA 70E procedures (15 to 25 percent travel) • Prepare and review project documents including equipment and installation specifications and bid packages • Manage change orders, scope adjustments, and client purchase order requirements on active projects • Coordinate subcontractors and vendors, including electrical contractors, NETA testing firms, and equipment suppliers, and chase down vendor drawings and submittals • Provide construction-phase support: RFI responses, submittal reviews, and field questions on issued designs • Present findings and recommendations directly to client maintenance, engineering, and EHS staff • Support proposal development with scoping input and level of effort estimates

• Perform infrared thermographic inspections of electrical systems, mechanical equipment, and/or roofing at commercial and industrial job sites • Analyze thermal images to identify anomalies or potential failures • Prepare detailed inspection reports using company templates, clearly documenting findings and recommendations for corrective action • Represent the company professionally on-site as the primary customer interface • Communicate effectively with internal teams and customer personnel to ensure clarity and accuracy of inspection results • Complete administrative duties in a timely manner, including time tracking, expense reporting, and travel arrangements • May also support building energy audits and assist with cataloging customers’ electrical and mechanical assets

• Travel to customer sites and execute a full scope of electrical testing and inspections independently • Execute NFPA compliance testing, ATS testing, energized and de-energized switchboard inspections, infrared thermography, and power meter installation and reading • Operate the full range of electrical testing equipment on both live and de-energized electrical equipment • Read and follow one-line diagrams; make edits to create accurate as-built drawings • Manage field documentation: digital photography and photo organization, file upload to shared storage, data entry into spreadsheets and reporting tools • Apply arc flash labels to electrical equipment • Create reports for the inspections you perform • Manage the full customer relationship on-site -- build trust through professional conduct and identify opportunities to pass cross-sell leads to the sales team

Most of your time will be spent alone, and you must be efficient, able to manage time effectively, understand your limitations and ask for help when necessary. • Support junior engineers and customers in the field of power systems and arc flash analysis in a technical role • Have expert knowledge of power system studies - arc flash evaluations, IEEE 1584, and NFPA 70E • Strong working knowledge of EasyPower, SKM, and ETAP • Review all complexities of models and reports for accuracy (both one lines and scenarios) • Occasional help in creating models or reports • Understand industrial and commercial power environments to provide technical support to clients, engineers and sales • Provide practical applications and solutions of expert knowledge to our clients • Provide support during non-standard hours for urgent questions and customer support (usually Tues-Thurs) • Have or obtain PE license within 6 months • Frequent and clear communication between team members, particularly as it relates to supporting team members on site
