These teammates will bring a vast range of experiences across financial management, accounting, audit, internal controls, and financial policy. Our Guidehouse team will provide: - Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), Generally Accepted Government Auditing Standards (GAGAS), Internal Control Over Financial Reporting (ICOFR), DoW financial management policies and procedures and DoD organizational structures - Financial audit statements and audit readiness services - Understanding of current trends in enhancing compliance with accounting and auditing standards within an Enterprise Resource Planning System (ERP) - Understanding of Office of Management and Budget (OMB) policies and federal financial management systems - Functional support to sustain audit and financial management applications and analytics developed within the DoW’s enterprise big data and analytics platform, Advana. The focus will be on the primary Advana applications used to sustain audit (such as General Ledger /Trial Balance, Fund Balance with Treasury and mission improvement (e.g. Dormant Account Review-Quarterly (DARQ) and Intra-Governmental Transactions, and other financial, audit, or budget analytical use cases. What Will You Need - Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD "SECRET" security clearance; candidates must obtain approved adjudication of clearance prior to onboarding with Guidehouse. Candidates with an ACTIVE "SECRET" or higher-level clearance are preferred. - Bachelor’s degree. - TEN (10) or more years of financial management experience or other relevant experience. - Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification. What Would Be Nice To Have - Advanced Degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or Business Management/Administration - Experience providing financial management support to the government, including activities such as audit or audit readiness, audit remediation and process improvement internal controls over financial reporting. - Ability to understand and execute on DoW financial management policies and procedures. - Ability to synthesize information quickly and learn new skills, view problems and apply a variety of solutions, and lead client-facing problems and meetings. - Possess one or more of the following certifications: - Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) - Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) - Program Management Professional (PMP) - Certified Government Financial Manager (CGFM) - Certified Defense Financial Manager (CDFM) The annual salary range for this position is $115,200.00-$172,800.00.
