Role Description The Senior Director, AI Systems will serve as the strategic and technical cornerstone of our Core AI Agentic Development Team. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing all AI development in production and ensuring that our multi-agent systems deliver tangible value in optimizing healthcare revenue lifecycles. The Senior Director will partner closely with the product management team to shape the AI roadmap, prioritize initiatives, and determine the most appropriate AI technologies and agent architectures for specific business challenges and opportunities. Responsibilities - Define and drive the enterprise AI strategy, aligning multi-agent system development with business objectives to optimize healthcare revenue cycle performance. - Lead architecture decisions for large-scale, production-grade agentic systems, including multi-agent orchestration, oracle frameworks, and enterprise system integration. - Partner with product leadership to shape the AI roadmap, prioritize initiatives, and select the most effective technologies and approaches for complex business challenges. - Establish and enforce governance, compliance, and guardrail frameworks to ensure safe, auditable, and regulatory-compliant AI system behavior (e.g., HIPAA alignment). - Oversee end-to-end delivery and performance of AI systems in production, defining KPIs and monitoring ROI, reliability, and operational impact. - Build, scale, and lead high-performing AI engineering teams, including budget management, resource planning, and organizational development. - Provide cross-functional leadership across engineering, product, and operations to translate business needs into scalable AI architectures and solutions. Qualifications - Substantial background in leading AI development teams and successfully delivering complex, agentic AI systems into production environments at scale. - Deep strategic understanding of the current AI landscape, specifically focusing on agent orchestration, governance, and system integration. • Generate $1,000,000 in pipeline annually leveraging professional network, partnerships and relationships from 10+ years experience in government or public sector technology. • Conduct a high volume of AI discovery calls with public sector prospects and existing Granicus customers. • Leverage AI to identify key customers through budget, council and other publicly available data and build hypotheses to inform high tough, highly strategic conversations with senior government officials. • Run structured discovery to identify the customer’s highest-value AI and process automation opportunities. • Partner with BDRs and AEs on early stage discovery, as well as AI Value Engineers on discovery and solutioning phases. • Own opportunity progression from initial conversation through qualified opportunity; partner with AI Process Analysts on continued opportunity progression. • Scope, propose and facilitate targeted pre-sales engagements, including workshops, on-site working sessions, demonstrations, and forward-deployed team pilots. • Maintain disciplined pipeline hygiene in Salesforce, including meeting outcomes, qualification notes, next steps, and accurate stage progression. • Partner with RevOps and Marketing on lead routing, qualification criteria, and feedback loops to improve top-of-funnel quality. • Surface strategic customer patterns such as use cases, objections, and readiness gaps to Product, Product Marketing, and Marketing teams.

The Senior Copy Editor applies professional editing skills to instructional and assessment content in Sophia courses and coveys those skills in creating style guides and documentation, ensuring that the content adheres to accepted conventions of English grammar and usage and to Sophia's standards and preferred style authorities. The Senior Copy Editor is expected to exercise good judgment to help make the Sophia content clear, engaging, and meaningful. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: - Performs copyediting tasks for the Sophia Academic Team, reviewing and editing the content that is developed for proper grammar, spelling, syntax, and layout. - Monitors course ‘voice’ and tone to ensure consistency within and across courses. - Ensures consistency, flow, and language accuracy of the Sophia assessment items. - Works collaboratively with course development and maintenance teams, as well as project managers to understand needs and meet deadlines. - Builds and helps to maintain core Sophia style guide and develops a template for course-specific style guides. - Adheres to relevant guidelines where indicated (e.g., Sophia standards, APA guide, Media guidelines), helping to keep continuity across resources. - Applies Sophia’s learner-centered design, APA formatting, and HTML markup. Leverages APA guidelines to the extent possible. - Adapts content for online delivery (e.g., links, headings, lists, brevity, paragraph size, white space, and graphics). - Aims to establish broad consistency across courses through documentation and by supporting the training of other CE staff. - Ability to stay focused and detail-oriented in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment. - Fulfill all other duties/tasks consistent with the goals of this position as determined by the supervisor.
