JOB DUTIES: Designs, develops, and maintains high-performance, scalable applications using Java, AWS, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and Kafka. May telecommute from any home office throughout the U.S. JOB REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field and 4 years of experience as a Programmer Analyst or a Software Developer. 4 years of experience in: Server-side, object-oriented programming in Java and Spring framework. Web services (REST) and using RESTful APIs for communication between services, UI, and the customer. Using microservices in multi-tenant SAAS application. Using SQL databases including MySQL and Postgres. Using messages, events and queues including Kafka and Redis. Analyze, design, and implement RESTful APIs for communication between services, UI, and customers for secure, scalable, and reliable systems. Source code management including Git. Backend Services and API Development - Develop robust backend services in Golang that power the GraphQL and other event-driven services of our platform. - Design and implement workflow processing stages in both Golang and Python depending on need. - Integrate with our NATS messaging infrastructure to exchange events and react to new actions in the system in real-time. - Optimize API performance and ensure scalability as our SaaS platform grows. 3. Data Integration and Real-Time Processing - Work with our S3-based Data Lake and Dagster to bring new customer data onto the platform and off-board data to customer platforms. - Integrate with Numaflow stream processing to provide new, exciting AI-driven data processing capabilities to customers. - Build features that help customers understand and interact with their data on the Data Lake. - Implement data visualization components and features to make complex analytic results digestible. - Enable customers to perform “human in the loop” actions to improve/correct the AI capabilities they utilize through a feedback mechanism. 4.
