About the Opportunity Join Ellucian’s dynamic Professional Services team as a Smart Plan Consultant, where you’ll play a pivotal role in helping higher education institutions transform their student planning and academic success initiatives. Work with Linux shell for log reading and service management. Follow proper issue isolation and testing methodologies. - Participate in customer workshops and training sessions to support knowledge transfer and long-term product success. - Contribute to customer satisfaction by supporting the successful delivery of solutions aligned to institutional goals. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams within Ellucian to share feedback and support continuous improvement of delivery practices. What will you bring - 1 to 2 years of experience in higher education, software services, customer success, project coordination, or a related field. - Exposure to higher education environments or an interest in student success and enrollment planning. - Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain concepts clearly. - Basic experience with project tracking tools such as Smartsheet, Excel, or similar platforms. - Demonstrated ability to gather information and support discovery or requirements discussions. - Experience supporting or delivering customer training is a plus. - Familiarity with Ellucian products, CRM systems, advising tools, or enrollment management systems is helpful but not required. - Comfortable working in a collaborative and primarily remote team environment. - Willingness to learn new technologies and grow within the role. Role Description As a 2W Tech Consultant, you will participate in consulting engagements that involve problem solving for customers, recommending, installing, testing and upgrading software. You will train clients, conduct workshops, analyze clients’ business needs and objectives and propose innovative solutions. This is a REMOTE position. There is no need to relocate. Duties and Responsibilities: - Test and troubleshoot systems for customers, providing initial level of support with issue resolution - Conduct Business Process reviews - Provide ERP module training for customers in Inventory Management, Production Management, Sales Management, Scheduling, Engineering, etc. - Assist customers with data migration - Write functional specifications for enhancements, integrations and reports - Perform work plans, identify resource requirements, establish priorities, and monitor the performance of project tasks - Provide estimates for projects and ensure that project deliverables are completed on time - Key resource for implementing Epicor ERP systems within customer organizations - Work with customers on facilitating and implementing change management throughout the ERP implementation - Ability to establish priorities while on site as well as communicate effectively with other project team members and customers - Attain and maintain Epicor certification status - Responsible for timely entry of time and expenses in project accounting system Qualifications - Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Business Admin., Accounting or equivalent - Experience working as an Epicor ERP consultant or working in an Epicor ERP environment - Prior experience working with Epicor ERP software is required (Epicor 10, Kinetic) - Epicor certification preferred - Strong communication skills - Ability to work effectively on a team
