Responsibilities: - Organize and update the company's tax database - Prepare tax payments and estimate and track tax returns - Complete quarterly and annual tax reports - Recommend tax strategies that align with business goals - Prepare necessary paperwork for tax payments and returns - Share financial data with the accounting department to ensure compliance with tax requirements - Identify tax savings and suggest ways to increase profits within tax regulations - Follow industry trends and track changes - Liaise with internal and external auditors to ensure compliance - Forecast tax predictions to senior managers to inform business
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's’ Degree in finance or accounting or related discipline is required
- Specialization or Master's degree in Taxes is a must
- 3+ years of related experience in Tax Accounting is required
- Previous experience in Mexican taxes, taxes audit is required
- Knowledge of equipment financing (in particular transportation equipment), would be considered an asset
- Strong computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Office, with the ability to learn new software quickly.
- Good time-management with an ability to prioritize and multi-task.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strategical thinking
- Fluent English is a must

Your Impact: Reporting to the VP, Supply Chain & Operations, the ideal candidate has a depth of experience managing supply planning & Inventory. This is a high visibility, high impact role that requires strong leadership & team skills and the ability to manage supply requirements as part of the monthly S&OP process. You will own the relationship with our overseas manufacturing partners to plan production & capacity as well as the relationship with our logistics and accounts services team to manage outbound distribution. Ways you can contribute day one: - Drive the monthly Inventory planning process; managing meeting cadence and stakeholder outputs while ensuring flexibility to respond to business needs - Decide on production priorities and work with factory to create a production schedule that considers constraints e.g line capacity, labour, batch sizes, run rates, bottlenecks, planned downtime - Create long term forecast for our factories to ensure they can adequately prepare for long term capacity growth and component sourcing - Establish repeatable, scalable approach to inventory planning that can accommodate our planned sales and product growth; integrate data sources needed to improve inventory visibility - meet deliverables including order placement, replenishment, OTB management and process management. - Present action plans to senior management, communicate risks and opportunities, and gain consensus on business approach. - Manage planning process for all refurbished & repair part inventory - Partner with the demand planning team to drive allocation strategy when inventory is low and support the creation of a back in stock plan. - Drive improvement in landed costs by working with the logistics team to develop and implement flow strategies that transport product at lowest cost possible. - Work closely with the Warehouse Supervisor to ensure effective warehouse space management and the transfer of goods between warehouses as required - Collaborate with procurement and supplier management team to work through raw material shortages/concerns while optimizing costs - Manage vendor relationships and communication related to targets, past business performance, in stocks, outstanding issues and forecasts. - Produce scorecards to evaluate inventory performance at all warehouses and supplier performance to forecasts Who you are: - You have 5-7 years of supply planning experience within a CPG environment - Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to influence decision making - Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with large data sets to identify trends and anomalies - Experience developing and presenting reports for stakeholders from account managers to senior executives - Comfortable using Netsuite or a similar ERP - Just so you know: The hired candidate will be required to complete a background check.
