The Data Center Capital Finance Intern serves as a vital support resource for the Capital Finance team. Working closely with both the IMDC Capital Analyst and the Senior Director of Data Center Capital Finance, the intern will gain exposure to financial reporting, process governance, and data management in a high-growth environment. Key Responsibilities Financial Support & Data Management: - Assist the IMDC Capital Analyst in data preparation for the monthly close cycle, ensuring inputs are accurate and timely. - Support the maintenance and documentation of capital finance spreadsheets and reporting templates. - Conduct basic validation of project data within PPM and financial systems to ensure compliance with approved project codes. Strategic & Process Assistance: - Support the Senior Director by conducting research on industry benchmarks or historical spend trends to aid in trade-off analysis. - Assist in documenting current capital processes to help identify automation and efficiency opportunities. - Participate in internal meetings, taking notes on action items and tracking follow-ups for project controls. Team Collaboration: - Collaborate with the team to support cross-functional data requests for internal and external reporting. Qualifications - Education: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. - Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets is required ; interest in learning enterprise financial systems (e.g., Oracle, Tririga) is highly desirable. - Mindset: Detail-oriented, eager to learn complex financial processes, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment. Reasonably expected salary range: $44,300.00 - $55,400.00 Please note that an employee's starting salary may vary based on a variety of factors. As a Gas Inspector, you'll be responsible for inspecting, reporting and feeding back on the gas safety standards delivered by registered businesses in Tyne and Wear and Northumberland. You will be allocated a portfolio of registered businesses and provided a structure to ensure inspections and reports are completed in line with service level agreements. Job title: Gas Inspector - Tyne and Wear Job Description: What you’ll be doing: - Carry out and complete inspections in line with our risk model and contractual obligations with our client the HSE. - Complete inspections against the Gas Industry Statutory and Normative documents and internal operating procedures. - Liaise with registered businesses to ensure any defects identified are understood and completed to standard and within timescale. - Ensure inspection reports are completed within a Service Level Agreement and to the standard required. - Ensure the appropriate course of action is taken when unsafe or illegal gas work is identified. - Liaise with and effectively communicate with registered businesses and gas consumers What we’re looking for: (Essential): - Must hold as a minimum the following ACS certificates of competence: CCN1, CENWAT1, CKR1, HTR1.
