We are currently searching for a ABAP/Fiori Consultant - Developer: RResponsibilities: - Design and develop CDS views (basic and consumption) to model business data for S/4HANA operational and analytical reporting. - Build OData services, AMDPs, and ABAP-based data access layers to expose data to SAP Fiori, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), and BI tools. - Optimize HANA performance using push-down techniques, explain plans, indexing strategies, and SQL tuning. - Implement annotations and semantics for analytical CDS to enable KPI calculations and metadata for frontend consumption. - Develop SAP Fiori/UI5 reporting front-ends and utilize RAP (ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model) for modern application design. - Lead testing activities and troubleshoot production incidents, performing root-cause analysis for complex data models. - Mentor junior developers and drive best practices for CDS modeling, naming conventions, and version control (Git/ADT). - Translate business requirements into technical specifications through stakeholder workshops. Requirements: - Minimum of 5+ years of SAP development experience with a heavy focus on ABAP and CDS development. - Hands-on experience building analytical CDS views on S/4HANA landscapes. - Advanced knowledge of ABAP, Open SQL, AMDP, and HANA SQLScript. - Experience with OData services, SAP Gateway, and the RAP paradigm. - Proficiency with SAP Fiori/UI5 and Fiori Elements for reporting applications. - Strong understanding of data modeling and integration with BW/4HANA and SAP Analytics Cloud. - Expertise in Eclipse/ADT, transport management, and performance tuning. - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Desired: - Experience with OData V4 and embedded analytics in S/4HANA. - Familiarity with HANA Calculation Views and data virtualization. - Experience in Agile delivery methods (JIRA/ALM). - Knowledge of PFCG authorization concepts related to data access. Languages - Advanced Oral English. - Advanced Spanish. Note: - Fully remote.
