Parking Electronics Field Service Technician
DESIGNA
• Install, modify, troubleshoot, repair and maintain revenue control equipment at manned and unmanned parking entrance and exit gates. • Replace consumable items such as tickets, printer ribbons, and light bulbs. • Replace modules and related equipment as needed to repair existing equipment, modify applications, or resolve unusual problems. • Troubleshoot, test, diagnose, calibrate, and perform field repairs. • Perform preventative maintenance such as inspection, testing, cleaning, lubricating, adjusting and replacing of serviceable parts to prevent equipment failure for electromechanical control to minimize repair problems and meet manufacturers' specifications.
Job Requirements
- Background in the implementation & maintenance of systems with electronics, electromechanical, networking, and software/firmware components.
- Strong troubleshooting & diagnostics skills needed at system, equipment & component levels.
- Good interpersonal skills for written & verbal communications with customers & co-workers is important.
- Strong work ethic with the capability to operate independently and as a member of high-performance teams required.
- Education &/or military training should be equivalent to 2 years of technical and/or a 4-year engineering technology degree.
- Must have a good driving record.
