Hybrid Principal Process Manager: Enterprise Payments The Enterprise Payments Debit Operations Team is seeking a dynamic Debit Card Process Manager to enhance the Debit Card issuance process spanning from card manufacturing through card delivery. As a Principal Associate, you will be responsible for creating and enhancing debit card experiences for Bank Customers. Your core focus will be actively identifying and implementing end-to-end process improvements leveraging automation and AI capabilities to drive efficiencies, reduce expenses, resolve issues, and mitigate risk. The team is seeking a self motivated professional who excels in a team environment, who is tenacious in their learning journey, accepts ownership, and is an inquisitive problem solver with a need to understand upstream and downstream impacts. This person will have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, thrive in undefined space, and adapt to change with vigor. The ability to develop an internal network and influence stakeholders will be a critical key to success in this role. Responsibilities - Manage day-to-day interactions with Third-Party Debit Card Fulfillment Partners, monitoring SLAs and KPIs, overseeing quality execution, and implementing corrective action plans. - Serve as a subject matter expert effectively partnering with cross-functional teams, third-party suppliers, payment networks, and our core processor, leveraging influencing skills to drive complex planning strategies and issue resolution. - Develop and present business proposals to Senior Leaders recommending process improvements, budget requirements, and implementation plans. - Collect and analyze operational data and generate insights for inclusion in Monthly Business Reviews (MBRs), Risk Forums and building monitoring dashboards. - Manage team compliance activities, including controls development, job aids, process mapping, business continuity planning, audit leadership, and control testing. - Travel about three times a year to meet with vendors in their locations Location: This role is hybrid, where you will be expected to spend 3 days per week working in office and the remainder of the week working virtually Basic Qualifications: - High School Diploma, GED or equivalent certification - At least 2 years of project or process management experience - At least 1 year of banking operations or payments experience - At least 1 year of experience using Google Suite Preferred Qualifications: - Bachelors Degree or Military experience - At least 4 years of project or process management experience - At least 1 year experience in debit card fulfillment, debit card transaction processing OR payment network management - At least 2 years of experience managing external stakeholders - Six Sigma, Lean, BPM, or PMP Certification At this time, Capital One will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization for this position.
