Liquid Chromatography Product Specialist

Agilent Technologies

• Drive sales of liquid chromatography products within the US and Canada • Maintain own funnel and carry a sales quota • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve sales targets and increase market share • Serve as technical point of contact at key strategic accounts • Focus on strategic and competitive opportunities to capture market share • Deliver product/workflow presentations and coordinate demonstrations • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns • Maintain accurate records of sales activities using CRM software • Regularly participate in relevant industry events • Provide feedback to the product development team based on customer insights

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s, Master’s or Ph.D. degree in Biochemistry, Analytical chemistry or adjacent field
  • 2+ years proven experience in sales, preferably in the scientific or analytical instruments industry
  • Deep technical understanding of Agilent’s full portfolio of chromatographic solutions and associated applications
  • Knowledgeable in the informatics solutions and associated compliance requirements of the LC market is highly desirable
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Willingness to travel within the designated territory
