Test Engineer
Leidos
• Develop, document, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts. • Perform manual testing of software applications. • Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing. • Identify, document, and track defects through resolution. • Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot and resolve issues. • Participate in requirement and design reviews to ensure testability. • Identify, document, and track bugs and issues using defect tracking tools. • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and business process analysts to resolve issues. • Analyze test results and provide detailed reports on quality metrics. • Improve testing processes, tools, and frameworks. • Follow agile methodology daily. • Ability to complete tasks independently with minimal direct supervision. • Continuously improve QA processes, tools, and methodologies.
Job Requirements
- Requires US Citizen or US Person with the ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance
- Bachelor’s degree in technical discipline (computer science, engineering, etc.) and 5 years of prior relevant experience or master’s degree and 3 years of prior relevant experience
- Working experience with at least one Relational Database Management System (Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server, etc.)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with test management and bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira)
- Deep understanding of software lifecycle
- Working experience of Agile Development and continuous integration and continuous delivery methodologies
- Experience with JIRA, Confluence, Wiki etc.
