• Own and improve our Lightning Network and Bitcoin payment infrastructure, from everyday upgrades and fixes to larger improvements across the stack • Work hands-on with Lightning implementations (LND, CLN, or similar), payment channels, and liquidity management • Analyze how our Lightning payments flow, including forensic work after incidents, and build monitoring and policies on top • Strengthen the security of our crypto systems: key management, HSMs, and how we safeguard funds • Help us get crypto transaction accounting right, working with the finance team so our books reflect how Bitcoin actually moves • Evaluate and integrate new Bitcoin and Lightning tech as the space evolves • Get new payment protocols into production, from payjoin to nostr-based flows • Build the Lightning side of our agentic commerce work • Ship with product and design, and contribute to our internal libraries and open-source tooling

• Author and maintain E2E automated tests with Playwright and Maestro • Build out regression, smoke, and sanity suites for critical flows: checkout, payments, gift card redemption, account management • Integrate automated test execution into CI/CD • Collaborate with developers to understand new features • Contribute to test planning, risk assessments

• Own product discovery, planning, and delivery for crypto-native features • Conduct direct research with users who spend crypto daily: understand their setups, workarounds, and frustrations • Write specifications with clear requirements and acceptance criteria; manage the backlog; ship end-to-end alongside engineering and design • Facilitate cross-functional coordination with compliance, marketing, support, and operations

• Manage and maintain the payment display part of our payment flow (Payment URI, address display and QR code, etc) • Handle our wallet ecosystem, both maintaining the standards and working with non-standard wallets • Stay current with wallet trends to ensure our wallet selector is up to date and advancing with new trends • Maintain and evolve our wallet connect stack (WalletConnect, MetaMask, Coinbase) • Manage the React tooling for WEB3 (Wagmi) and improve it • Understand the difference between our various environments (Website, App and affiliate widget) and be the point of contact for the various teams interacting with it
