As we continue our rapid expansion across Central Europe, we are looking for a creative, experienced Named Account Executive to take the lead on two of Germany’s key enterprise accounts in the Renewable Energy vertical. Reporting to the Director of Enterprise Sales, you will build and deepen strategic relationships, lead high‑impact commercial opportunities and take ownership for delivering performance against ambitious targets - giving you the opportunity to shape the customer’s data and AI strategy, identify and progress high‑value opportunities and turn them into measurable business outcomes. The impact you will have: - You will take full ownership of these key customers, setting a bold strategy to outperform ambitious revenue and consumption goals. - You will execute with pace and precision, turning strategy into action and consistently exceeding your targets. - You will build true boardroom‑level trust, acting as the go‑to data and AI advisor for senior and C‑level stakeholders. - You will continuously create and shape new business, expanding strategic use cases and driving deep, long‑term platform adoption. - You will mobilise the full Databricks ecosystem to unlock maximum value and measurable outcomes for the customer. - You will lead high‑stakes, insight‑led negotiations, successfully closing complex, multi‑year opportunities. What we look for: - You will have experience developing strong relationships with large Enterprise accounts, managing virtual teams, and leading complex sales campaigns - You will have experience of selling Big Data, Data & AI/Analytics or complex cloud technology solutions into large accounts. - Proof of exceeding sales quotas in high-growth Enterprise software companies - Experience and/or good understanding of the Energy verticals would be advantageous - You will have experience driving usage and commit-based engagement models and strategies working with professional services and training teams - You will have experience co-selling and scaling your business with Cloud Vendors (AWS, Azure and Google Cloud teams) and Global Solution Integrators (GSI) - You will have experience co-developing business cases and gaining support from C-level Executives - You leverage sales methodologies such as value-based selling, MEDDPIC, Challenger sales to manage and close sales opportunities. - We are a customer first company therefore travel to be onsite with your customers is required (up to 40% travel) - Fluency in German and English is essential. #LI-HS4 About Databricks Databricks is the data and AI company.
