Role The Employee Experience Manager is responsible for designing and executing strategies that enhance every touchpoint of the employee journey at Trail of Bits. This role owns the planning and execution of company-wide and team offsites, drives cultural initiatives, and ensures employees feel connected, supported, and engaged through their entire tenure. As a fully remote company with a globally distributed team, this role is critical to building meaningful connections, fostering our collaborative culture, and creating memorable experiences that bring our people together. What You’ll Achieve - Offsite & Event Leadership: Own the entire lifecycle of company and team offsite meetings, from ideation and goal-setting to logistics, vendor management, budget oversight, and post-event reporting. Partner with leadership to design impactful agendas that align with team goals and company values. - Employee Lifecycle Touchpoints: Manage key employee experience moments; including milestone celebrations, recognition initiatives, and offboarding processes that leave a lasting positive impression. - Cultural Initiatives: Develop and execute programs that reinforce Trail of Bits' unique culture, supporting our values of collaboration, innovation, and knowledge-sharing across a distributed workforce. - Engagement & Connection: Create opportunities for employees to connect and build relationships, including virtual events, team-building activities, wellness programs, and community-building initiatives. - People Ops Support: Serve as a collaborative partner to the broader People Operations team, providing backup and support for core HR functions including benefits administration, leave management, employee inquiries, and other people processes as needed. - Vendor & Partner Management: Build and maintain relationships with event agencies, travel partners, venues, and other vendors to ensure high-quality experiences while managing costs effectively. What You’ll Bring - Based in the United States. - 4+ years of experience in employee experience, employee engagement, internal events, HR, or a similar people-focused role, ideally in a tech or high-growth environment. - Proven track record of planning and executing in-person and virtual events, team offsites, or company gatherings for distributed teams. - Excellent project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple initiatives, manage budgets, and meet deadlines. - Strong interpersonal and communication skills; you're comfortable partnering with leaders at all levels and building relationships across a remote organization. - Data-informed mindset with experience gathering employee feedback and translating insights into actionable improvements. - Familiarity with remote work tools (Slack, Trello, Google Workspace, and more). - Creative problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced, autonomous environment and takes initiative. - Passion for building inclusive, engaging workplace cultures where people feel valued and connected. Reporting Manager: Head of People Operations The base salary for this full-time position ranges from $100,000 to $150,000, excluding benefits and potential bonuses. Various factors influence our salary ranges, including the specific role, level of seniority, geographic location, and the nature of the employment contract. An individual's specific work location, unique skills, experience, and relevant educational background will determine the final offer within this range. The presented salary range encompasses the starting salaries for all U.S. locations.
