Linux Embedded Developer
Infotree Global Solutions
• Analyze and optimize system performance (CPU usage, scheduler latency, memory footprint, I/O performance) • Work with Linux Kernel internals (scheduler, memory management, IRQ/driver stack) • Perform tracing and analysis using tools such as KernelShark, trace-cmd, and ftrace • Identify performance bottlenecks and regressions • Debug embedded systems using tools like strace, dmesg, perf, and LTTng • Build and maintain Yocto-based Linux distributions • Create and optimize system images (poky, bitbake, layers) • Develop and maintain custom recipes and meta-layers • Work with the Linux networking stack (netlink, TC, eBPF) • Implement and modify XDP/eBPF programs (e.g., packet filtering, traffic analysis)
Job Requirements
- Several years of experience as a Linux Embedded Developer
- Strong knowledge of Linux Kernel internals
- Experience with system performance analysis and profiling
- Hands-on experience with tools: perf, top/htop, vmstat/iostat, bpftrace, KernelShark
- Strong experience with Yocto Project (bitbake, poky, layers, bbappend, devtool)
- Solid understanding of embedded Linux systems and cross-compilation
- Experience with eBPF/XDP and Linux networking stack
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
