Role Description We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Remote Quantity Surveyor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quantity surveying and experience working remotely. • Ensure consistent and disciplined application of approved project controls cost standards, procedures, systems, and control. • Oversee the integrity, consistency, and compliance of cost baselines, budgets, cash flow forecasts, and EACs to support accurate, transparent, and auditable project cost reporting. • Provide governance of cost management systems, tools, data structures, and configuration requirements to ensure they are applied correctly and support reliable cost performance measurement and reporting. • Monitor adherence to approved standards and procedures, assess data quality and cost performance trends, and identify deviations, risks, or new issues. • Identify cost risks, non‑compliance, and adverse trends, and escalate issues following defined governance and escalation requirements. • Review, and govern cost reports and performance narratives, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and agreement on governance expectations. • Lead deep dive cost review forums and coordinate with Finance, Procurement, and Project Management to ensure agreement between cost data, financial and project reporting. • Provide technical guidance and mentoring to project controls and cost management resources to strengthen standards, improve capability, and promote consistent application of governance requirements.
