Google Ads Specialist

Role Description We are looking for a Google Ads Specialist with 3-5+ years of experience to manage and optimise paid digital campaigns for our clients. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, client-focused with strong verbal and written communication skills, and capable of running campaigns from the ground up independently across Google Ads and Meta platforms (not essential but nice to have). Key Responsibilities - Plan, execute, and manage Google Ads campaigns end-to-end, including search, display, video, shopping, and remarketing campaigns. - Assist with ad copy using the correct framework, visual assets, and a keen eye for detail. - Experience working with Google grants - from application to executing campaigns. - Strong background in driving campaigns across B2B, B2C, and e-commerce. - Support Meta campaigns (Facebook & Instagram) with ad creation, targeting, and optimisation (nice to have but not essential). - Conduct keyword research, competitor analysis, and audience segmentation to maximise campaign performance. - Monitor and optimise campaigns for performance, including CTR, conversions, CPA, ROAS, and other KPIs. - Maintain a keen eye on visual assets and understand ad fatigue to find new opportunities. - Create, test, and optimise ad copy, creatives, and landing pages in collaboration with the design/content team. - Experience with Google Tag Manager - set up conversion tracking, pixels, and analytics to accurately measure campaign performance. - Generate performance reports with actionable insights for clients. - Strong verbal and written communication skills; confidently communicate with clients, explaining campaign results, recommendations, and strategy updates. - Stay updated on digital advertising trends, platform updates, and industry best practices. - Collaborate with internal teams (creative, marketing, development, analytics) to align campaigns with client objectives. Qualifications - 3-5+ years of hands-on experience managing Google Ads campaigns. - Experience managing Meta campaigns (Facebook & Instagram Ads) is preferred. - Strong understanding of PPC strategies, bidding, budgeting, and optimisation techniques. - Proficiency in Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and other ad tracking/reporting tools. - Ability to analyse data and provide actionable insights to improve performance. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly for client-facing discussions. - Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple campaigns and clients simultaneously. - Self-starter with minimal supervision required. Opportunity Overview: Cohere is looking for a proactive Senior Implementation Manager to help lead implementations for new clients as we expand into new markets.
