Managing Director, Revenue Operations

Role Description ASME is seeking a Managing Director, Revenue Operations to serve as the strategic and operational architect behind a unified, high-performing revenue engine. This high-impact leadership role aligns Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success into a scalable system that drives predictable growth and visibility across the full customer lifecycle. In this role, you will build and mature ASME’s Revenue Operations function, bringing structure and operational rigor to pipeline management, forecasting, go-to-market systems, and lifecycle design. You will partner closely with leaders across Sales, Product, Marketing, and Customer Success to ensure the commercial organization operates with focus, transparency, and consistency. - Define and operationalize the long-term vision, strategy, and operating model for Revenue Operations. - Build and lead a high-performing team spanning analytics, systems, process, forecasting, and GTM enablement; foster a culture of data integrity, transparency, and continuous improvement. - Set and oversee pipeline stages, health metrics, and reporting across the company; provide precise forecasting for informed decisions. - Continuously optimize Salesforce and the broader GTM technology stack to improve adoption, data quality, and scalability. - Provide executive visibility through dashboards and insights across demand generation, pipeline, bookings, adoption, retention, and expansion - surfacing trends, risks, and opportunities to guide prioritization and investment. - Serve as the connective tissue across Marketing, Sales, Product, and Customer Success by defining shared KPIs, metrics, and handoffs and leading operating rhythms (forecast reviews, MBRs/QBRs, and GTM standups). - Design and optimize the end-to-end customer lifecycle, including lead management (scoring, routing, SLAs, and governance) and post-sale motions in partnership with Customer Success. - Identify funnel friction and bottlenecks; standardize and document scalable processes and playbooks; lead cross-functional initiatives to improve workflows, automation, quote-to-cash execution, integrations, and compliance. - Enable ASME’s shift toward account ownership, strategic selling, and digital delivery models through process and operating model improvements. Qualifications - 10+ years of experience in Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, Business Operations, or a similar function. - Proven track record of building and scaling RevOps or GTM Operations teams. - Demonstrated impact driving revenue growth in fast-paced, evolving environments. - Proficiency with Salesforce and other business productivity tools. Requirements - Deep expertise in Salesforce and modern GTM tech stacks, including analytics and automation. - Strong command of pipeline mechanics, forecasting methodology, and lifecycle design. - Exceptional analytical rigor, operational judgment, and written/verbal communication skills. - Ability to lead through influence and drive alignment in complex, cross-functional environments. Preferred Qualifications - Experience supporting complex B2B and multi-stakeholder buying/sales motions. - Industry background in engineering, industrial, technical, or standards-driven organizations. - Exposure to subscription, digital content, and/or digital transformation business models. - Hands-on experience with data governance and GTM systems integrations. The New York City Metro and Washington DC salary range for this position is estimated to be between $197,000 - $205,000 per year.
