Role Description Would you like to join CVS Health, a Fortune 5 company, on our multifaceted Pharmacy Benefits Management (PBM) Underwriting team? In this high-level individual contributor role, you will utilize your business, industry, competitive, client, and technical knowledge to formulate pricing strategy and to execute financial modeling of comprehensive pricing offers that include retail network, mail order, specialty, and pharmaceutical manufacturer rebates for PBM client contracts. - Collaborating with PBM Sales and Account Services to provide recommendations on pricing and negotiation strategy to achieve revenue and profitability targets for new business growth and margin retention; - Applying advanced Excel modeling techniques to analyze large sets of pharmacy claims data and build forward looking financial forecasts and profit and loss (P&L) statements; - Presenting financial analyses to Executive Leadership during Executive Underwriting Approval Calls and responding to financial questions in real-time; - Supporting Underwriting Managers and Sr. Managers with ad-hoc financial analyses and client implementation projects. Your success will be determined by your ability to communicate client pricing to internal and external partners in support of accurate pricing implementation and to minimize service warranties and performance guarantee payouts. You will need to execute and implement constantly evolving pricing strategies in response to market dynamics to provide competitive, profitable, and attractive pricing offers. You will have a measurable impact in this role, by helping CVS Health, and our clients win, in a competitive marketplace. Qualifications - 3 or more years’ financial analysis, pricing, or corporate underwriting experience required - Proficient in Microsoft Excel in complex data analysis Requirements - Basic knowledge of PBM finance - Experience managing complex projects over 3-12 months in a matrix environment - Ability to interact with others in a professional manner and help foster teamwork and knowledge sharing to complete key tasks - Advanced Excel modelling - Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and follow up skills - Strong presentation and communication skills with experience presenting to various business groups Education - Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in Finance, Mathematics, Economics, or related field; or equivalent work experience may be considered - Master's Degree preferred Benefits - Medical, dental, and vision coverage - Paid time off - Retirement savings options - Wellness programs - Other resources, based on eligibility

Job Summary: The purpose of this position is to utilize clinical expertise, critical thinking, and decision-making skills to review medical records against appropriate criteria in conjunction with contract requirements to determine medical appropriateness of Autism Spectrum Disorder Services, while maintaining production goals and QA standards. ***This position is remote; however, candidates must hold an active Indiana license OR must be willing to apply for and obtain an LBA license in the state of Indiana within the first 90 days of employment*** Job Responsibilities: - Reviews and interprets patient records and compares against criteria to determine medical necessity and appropriateness of care; determines if the medical record documentation supports the need for service. - Determines approval or initiates doctoral level consultant; processes consultant decision ensuring any denial reason is described in sufficient detail on outgoing correspondence. - Performs ongoing assessment of review process to offer opportunities for improvement and/or change. - Assures accuracy and timeliness of all applicable cases within contract requirements. - Assesses, evaluates, and addresses daily workload and queues; adjusts work schedules daily to meet the workload demands of the department. - Fosters positive and professional relationships with internal and external customers. - Responsible for attending training and scheduled meetings and for maintenance and use of current/updated clinical practice or policy information for appropriate case reviews. - Utilizes proper telephone etiquette and judicious use of other verbal and written communications, following Acentra Health’s policies, procedures and guidelines. - Actively cross trains to perform duties of other contracts to provide a flexible workforce to meet client/customer needs. - Always maintains medical record confidentiality through proper use of computer passwords, maintenance of secured files, and adherence to HIPAA policies. - Read, understand, and adhere to all corporate policies including policies related to HIPAA and its Privacy and Security Rules. Qualifications Required Qualifications/Experience: - Active, unrestricted Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) OR must be willing to apply for and obtain an LBA license in the state of Indiana within the first 90 days of employment. - Certified by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) as a BCBA, in accordance with contract requirements. - Masters degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a business related field. - 3+ years of recent clinical experience in the behavior analysis field. - 1+ years of experience in Utilization Management, Utilization Review or Prior Authorization. - Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills. - Proficiency in medical necessity review. - Ability to work independently in a remote environment and adapt to a demanding workload. - Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, and collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams. - Must reside in the United States.
