Department OverviewTETRA HARDWARE ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING Job Description - Responsible for the design and development of highly sophisticated communications products for professional and mission-critical markets. - Specifically, the role is an Electrical HW Engineer to develop Electrical Sub-Systems to meet stringent ETSI Specifications. - Ability to work with a team of highly qualified engineers to generate the overall design concept for the electrical system to meet the safety and signal integrity requirements for a specific product. This may include the detailed design of analog and digital circuitry, power management systems, and RF components. - Familiar with the integration process between the Hardware and Software teams, in particular with microcontrollers and digital signal processors (DSPs) that require hardware and software controls during the product development period. - Provide sound engineering analysis for design optimization utilizing tools like circuit simulation (e.g., SPICE), signal and power integrity analysis, and mathematical modeling tools. - Establish a correlation between simulation and experimental data to ensure a high level of confidence in determining the optimum design approach through the DFSS (Design for Six Sigma) Framework. Basic Requirements - Candidate must be pursuing a Bachelor's Degree or Professional Degree in Engineering (Electrical / Electronic) or equivalent course.
