National Operations Specialist

The National Operations Specialist assists Regional Managers in directing the overall management and maintenance of apartment communities throughout the country in accordance with Company policies and procedures.  This position may serve as a troubleshooter and/or fill in for management at a particular property. This is a traveling role that is provided weekly assignments that require 90% travel, sometimes including weekends. What You’ll Do: - Participate in the planning and implementation of the assigned community’s marketing plan - Assist with leasing responsibilities to maximize occupancy - Maintain an excellent customer service relationship by adhering to the Peak Simply Service Standards - Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Company policies & procedures - Assist in conducting training for property staff on Company policies & procedures - Assist and complete Peak Leasing Experience with leasing staff - Interview candidates for onsite positions and participate in the recruitment of new hires by making recommendations to the Property Manager/Regional Manager - Assist in conducting training for part-time leasing consultants and property staff - Assist in scheduling and managing part-time leasing consultants while working at a particular property - Assist in addressing employee-related issues - Assist in conducting performance appraisals for part-time leasing consultants and property staff - Participate in property inspections, quarterly, move-in, and move out - Assist the Property Manager or Regional Manager in supervising maintenance staff, and when necessary, directly scheduling property repairs with outside contractors - Monitor maintenance service responses to ensure a high degree of resident satisfaction - Coordinate preparation and processing of leases and related paperwork for approval by Property Manager or Regional Manager - Ensure accurate record retention and property compliance with record retention policies for approval by Regional Manager - Perform various administrative tasks as needed - Assist in preparation of weekly and monthly reporting requirements - Responsible for helping property meet budgeted revenues, expenses, and Net Operating Income - Address complaints and resolve issues in a timely and professional fashion - Serve as the primary manager of the property in the absence of the Property Manager or Assistant Manager; Fill in for open positions as necessary What You’ll Need: - A minimum of one year of experience as a Property Manager is required. - High school diploma or equivalent required; College degree preferred - This position is 90% travel, including air travel - Travel for student property turnover may include a full 2-4 week assignment - A valid driver's license and current automobile insurance is required. We are equipment agnostic, and our solutions incorporate leading technologies such as mobile robots, automated storage and retrieval systems (ASRS), automated guided vehicles (AGV), goods-to-person technology, sortation, and conveyor. Our Site Supervisors are the onsite project owner of construction and installation phases with a primary goal of safely delivering a successful installation that conforms to design, schedule, and cost. The Site Supervisor must develop and maintain a trusted relationship with clients while also managing suppliers, third parties and direct reports. The Site Supervisor is also the main conduit of communication with KPI leadership and must provide frequent updates including daily reports and alerts. The incumbent ensures the site office operates smoothly and efficiently, receiving and directing visitors. - Deliver exceptional client service while professionally representing KPI as the primary onsite point of contact. Collaborative and proactive liaison and co-ordination with customer site representative. - Establish and monitor compliance with health and safety practices while delivering the installation that results in zero incidents. - Oversee the work of sub-contractor site supervisors to ensure work completion meets expectations. Conduct regular updates/meetings (weekly at a minimum) to keep all parties informed and on track. - Supervise and coordinate the mechanical and electrical installation, ensuring that the installation is in line with the project installation specifications, safety, and drawings. - Strong commitment co-ordination and monitoring of safety in general. Hold regular safety meetings with all site personnel, including sub-contractors. - Identify problem areas and ensure timely resolution, working with KPI`s engineering team. - Work closely with project manager to ensure project is delivering a quality solution as scoped and scheduled within budget.

In this role, you will serve as a key point of contact for incoming referrals, professionally handling phone calls and coordinating Durable Medical Equipment (DME) and Home Health referrals that support injured workers and healthcare partners. You’ll play an important role in ensuring accurate referral creation, timely communication with internal teams, and exceptional service to both internal and external customers. The ideal candidate brings experience in healthcare, insurance, or workers’ compensation environments, along with strong organizational skills, medical terminology knowledge, and a commitment to confidentiality and quality. This position is fully remote and offers a consistent schedule of Monday through Friday, 12:00 PM – 8:30 PM EST. Responsibilities: - Primarily responsible to receive and answer phone calls in a professional, timely manner, assisting with processing Durable Medical Equipment (DME) and Home Health (HH) referrals. - Communicate messages to internal team in an effective, efficient manner. - Maintain payer billing location information as well as adjusters and case managers' information. - Process DME and HH billing for mailing as assigned. - Create DME and Home Health referrals, create files, and maintain applicable data with appropriate document file management for all incoming faxes, invoices, clinical notes, and prescriptions. - Assist with implementing and maintaining new customers in company's proprietary software. Complete unmatched e-claim reports. - Notify appropriate internal departments regarding new referrals. - Responsible for appropriately managing incoming mail. Follow up as appropriate with co-workers, supervisor, or referral sources as needed. - Responsive to inquiries within given timeframes and within established policy.
