Position Summary Forward Edge-AI is seeking a highly analytical and curious Business Analyst Intern – Market Intelligence & Growth to support research, market analysis, and strategic growth initiatives. This role is ideal for a student or early-career professional interested in market intelligence, strategy, and data-driven decision-making. The intern will work closely with cross-functional teams to evaluate market opportunities, analyze competitive landscapes, and provide insights that inform go-to-market strategies and business expansion efforts. Key Responsibilities Market & Industry Analysis - Research market trends, competitive dynamics, and industry shifts relevant to company growth - Build and maintain frameworks for tracking competitors, emerging players, and market developments - Synthesize research into clear, actionable briefs for leadership Opportunity Sizing & Pipeline Strategy - Develop quantitative models to estimate the size and potential of new market opportunities - Analyze current pipeline data against market insights to identify gaps and high-potential segments - Support go-to-market prioritization by evaluating opportunity size, strategic fit, and feasibility Communication & Collaboration - Present findings and recommendations to cross-functional stakeholders - Collaborate with Sales, Product, and Strategy teams to validate assumptions and refine insights - Deliver a final capstone presentation summarizing research, findings, and strategic recommendations Required Qualifications - Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Data Analytics, or related field - Strong analytical skills and comfort working with data and Excel-based models - Ability to draw insights from incomplete or imperfect data sets - Strong intellectual curiosity and a proactive, investigative mindset - Excellent written and verbal communication skills Preferred Qualifications - Familiarity with business research tools and databases (e.g., PitchBook, Statista, Crunchbase, etc.) - Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) - Exposure to market research, consulting, or strategy-related work - Interest in AI, technology, or emerging markets Core Competencies - Analytical thinking and problem-solving - Research and market intelligence - Data interpretation and modeling - Clear communication and storytelling - Collaboration across teams Learning Outcomes - Hands-on experience in market intelligence and competitive analysis - Exposure to real-world business strategy and growth planning - Experience building models to support decision-making - Development of executive-level communication and presentation skills Why Forward Edge-AI This internship offers direct exposure to strategic decision-making within a high-growth technology organization.
