About the Role: We are seeking a highly motivated Financial Analyst to join our Finance organization. This role is designed for new and recent college graduates who are eager to build a strong foundation in corporate finance, financial planning and analysis (FP&A), and mergers and acquisitions (M&A). Responsibilities: • Supporting the annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes. • Assisting with monthly and quarterly financial performance reporting and variance analysis. • Analyzing key business drivers, trends, and operational metrics. • Preparing financial models, analyses, and presentations to support management decision-making. • Partnering with FP&A team members to develop management reports and dashboards. • Assisting in building and maintaining financial models for valuation, return analysis, and scenario planning. • Analyzing target company financial statements, operating metrics, and historical performance. • Conducting market research, competitive analysis, and industry assessments to support deal evaluation. • Supporting due diligence activities across Finance, HR, Legal, Operations, and other functional teams. • Preparing business cases, investment memos, and executive-level presentation materials. • Assisting with tracking transaction timelines and maintaining deal documentation. • Working closely with internal partners to gather data, analyze findings, and summarize insights. • Communicating key analyses and recommendations to Finance leadership and stakeholders. • Building strong business understanding through exposure to multiple functions and initiatives. • Performing other duties as assigned. • Complying with all policies and standards. Requirements: • Earning or having completed a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field. • Gaining internship, co-op, or entry-level experience in FP&A, corporate finance, M&A, investment banking, consulting, or a related area. • Demonstrating strong analytical and quantitative skills with attention to detail. • Using Excel and PowerPoint with an interest in financial modeling and analysis. • Managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment. • Communicating clearly through strong written and verbal communication skills. • Gaining exposure to financial modeling, valuation, or forecasting through coursework or internships. • Demonstrating familiarity with basic valuation concepts such as DCF, comparable companies, and precedent transactions. • Showing curiosity, a learning mindset, and interest in understanding how businesses create value.
