Overview The Sales Development Representative is an inside sales representative that focuses on outreach prospecting and lead qualification with a focus of connecting with as many leads as possible to determine if they are a good customer fit for the organization. Responsibilities - Initiate discovery calls to qualified lead prospects with the assistance of the account manager; gather information, assess needs, educate on suitable product offerings and determine viability of a sale in the Healthcare industry - Maintain purposeful, regular contact with identified prospects to add value and drive sale forward; regular contact includes emails, phone calls and other relevant activities - Generate new qualified lead prospects by developing a target list of customers and executing calling and email campaigns - Participate in events; make contact with potential customers at trade show booth and ensure proper lead follow up after the show - Accompany account managers to onsite customer meetings - Update all internal systems on all activities - Participate in transition call with account manager when potential customer moves from lead to genuine sales opportunity; facilitate portions of the call to ensure proper transition - Review and evaluate requests for proposals; assist prospects with drafting appropriate documentation - Leverage multi tactical technology stack - Partner with Field Reps and cross-functional teams and departments to develop targeted campaigns - Comply with all corporate and departmental privacy and data security policies and practices, including but not limited to, Hyland’s Information Systems Security Policy Basic Qualifications - Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience - Experience as a Sales Associate - Inside sales experience - Relevant Healthcare industry experience - Speak or write with ease, clarity and impact, using a communication style appropriate to the subject and the audience - Able to thrive in a fast paced, deadline driven environment - Demonstrated ability to establish rapport and gain the trust of others - Microsoft Windows and Office proficient - Strong business acumen - Self-motivated, with high energy and an engaging level of enthusiasm - Good at investigating situations or issues to get relevant information; adept at asking probing questions to successfully obtain quality information - Sharp, fast learner with a curiosity for technology as well as aptitude - Up to 10% travel time required
