Deal Desk Advisor

Merative

The Deal Desk Advisor works closely with Merative’s sales, professional services, pricing, and legal teams to develop complex price quotes and contracts across a variety of offerings within the Cúram portfolio. This role is primarily responsible for developing price quotes and contracts for labor-based professional services engagements but may also be called on to support or own the quoting and contracting for well-defined products. The quotes and contracts developed by this role are largely for governmental clients, either directly or through business partners. Key Responsibilities Overall - Work continuously to increase company revenue and achieve sales targets. - Perform as an extended member of the sales team and work closely with Merative stakeholders to progress opportunities through their sales cycles. - Advance price quotes and contracts through the approval process. - Ensure alignment with business unit strategy, margin objectives, and client requirements. - Ensure compliance with internal and external policies and regulations. - Help improve sales effectiveness, in part by participating in win/loss analysis. - Support RFP responses and other opportunities that may require short turnaround times. Quoting and Quote Support - Participate in high-level solutioning and work with the extended solutioning team to define labor estimates and schedules - Use Merative’s financial tools to perform profitability and revenue analysis and help maximize the profit margin on labor, with labor estimates and target pricing as inputs. - Build complex professional services quotes and support sellers in building product quotes. Contracting - Create, redline, and route services contracts that describe the effort and price of delivering the solution proposed. - Participate in the creation, redlining, and routing of product sales contracts. - Function as a subject matter expert on the details of signed customer contracts, including the curation of those signed contracts. Documentation and Communication - Own the documentation, storage, and internal publication of solutioning and opportunity artifacts including contract drafts and pricing files. - Provide regular updates to leadership and other interested parties about ongoing opportunities. - Participate in opportunity reviews when requested. - Assist with the transition of solution details to the delivery team after sales opportunities are won. Requirements - Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience - A minimum of 2 years of related work experience - Experience developing professional services price quotes - Experience creating, redlining, and routing sales contracts - Proven commitment to supporting sales wins. - Strong background with labor planning and price modeling. - Solid understanding of revenue recognition rules. - Excellent attention to detail and documentation skills. - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Able to effectively deliver presentations to internal groups. - Able to capture requirements from a diverse group and synthesize into a single coherent solution. - Able to plan, prioritize, and work with a complex schedule of events and activities in a fluid environment. - Client-focused with a strong commitment to customer service. - Able to effectively partner, collaborate, and influence others in a cross-functional team to achieve goals. Exceptional relationship building and virtual team skills. - Able to handle complex situations where analysis requires an in-depth evaluation of multiple factors. - Self-motivated and action oriented. Preferred - Experience supporting software product quotes - Strong background supporting SaaS software and services sales in the government and partner arenas. - Experience with Salesforce and/or DocuSign - Experience with government contracting, social program management, or information technology Compensation The salary range provided in this job posting is intended to reflect the general market value for the position. The actual salary offered may vary based on factors such as the candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and the specific requirements of the role. For base-salary + commission sales roles, the range represents On-Target Earnings. Role Description The Sr IT Consultant will work with the entire Amplix team as well as clients and prospective clients on a daily basis.
