Director of HV Operations

SOLV Energy

• Develop and execute the company’s High Voltage strategy in alignment with overall business goals and objectives. • Identify market opportunities for High Voltage deployment, including utility-scale projects, commercial and industrial applications. • Collaborate with engineering, operations and finance teams to develop cost effective High Voltage solutions and business models. • Oversee the design, construction and commissioning of High Voltage projects, ensuring compliance with safety, quality and regulatory standards. • Manage relationships with vendors, suppliers and partners to secure the necessary resources and expertise for High Voltage initiatives. • Provide leadership and mentorship to a team of High Voltage professionals, fostering a culture of safety, innovation, collaboration and continuous improvement. • Represent the company at client meetings, conferences and regulatory proceedings related to High Voltage.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 8 to10 years of work related experience in design and/or construction of High Voltage and substation projects.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze market trends and develop actionable insights.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills to work with others under all situations.
  • Ability to work, analyze, troubleshoot and prioritize problems independently.
  • Flexible schedule due to client and project locations.
  • Effective written and verbal English communication skills.
