ABOUT THIS ROLE: - Data Integration & Pipeline Oversight: Monitor and support automated ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to ensure data from third-party partners is ingested correctly. - L2 Support: Handling L2 support requests relating to data issues and discrepancies. Investigating escalated tickets that require deeper technical analysis than the initial support tier. - Proactive Monitoring: Monitoring inventory and pricing data within internal systems and from third-party providers. Identifying anomalies or gaps in data flow before they impact business operations. - Data Cleansing & Validation: Performing data cleansing, transformation, and validation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency of data used for analysis and reporting purposes. - Data Partner Coordination: Communicating with data partners to ensure bugs are resolved. Ensuring that the importing and processing of inventory and pricing data are in line with organizational requirements. - Cross-Functional Communication: Coordinating with the support team, development team, product owners, and stakeholders. Providing the organization with regular health checks and status updates on data issues or new program implementations. - Technical QA: Running scripts and performing data QA to find anomalies. Identifying patterns in data sets that indicate technical errors or integration failures. - Problem Solving: Conducting root cause analysis on data breaks and working with the dev team to implement long-term fixes. ABOUT YOU: key qualifications / “must-haves” here. - Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related technical field. - Professional Experience: Proven experience as a Data Analyst or similar role, with a track record of maintaining data integrity and delivering actionable insights. - Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in SQL, Python, R, or other programming languages for data manipulation, analysis, and visualization. Experience working with multiple data formats including CSV, JSON, and XML. Understanding of ETL principles and experience interacting with APIs. - Industry Knowledge: Knowledge of the automotive industry, specifically regarding vehicle inventory management and pricing structures. - Analytical Mindset: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically about complex data issues and system dependencies. - Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in French and English, with the ability to effectively convey technical status updates and data health checks to non-technical audiences. - Detail-Oriented & Organized: Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple investigations and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment. - Collaborative Team Player: A strong cross-functional collaborator with excellent interpersonal skills, responsible for facilitating communication and alignment between Support, Developers, and stakeholders. In addition to base salary, some roles are eligible for our bonus and/or equity programs, depending on level and role. Regular full-time positions are eligible for our comprehensive benefits package. If you are hired at Cars Commerce, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as skills and/or experience.
