• As Head of Engineering (all genders), you will, together with another Head of Engineering, lead approximately 10 Value Stream teams. • You will work closely together, each responsible for your own clusters of teams, and challenge each other to continuously evolve Engineering as a whole. • Your focus will be on enabling Engineering Managers to establish clear structures and ensure sustainable performance. • You will translate company objectives into clear priorities and ensure measurable business impact. • You will define and drive the engineering strategy together with Senior Leadership. • You will lead and develop Engineering Managers. • You will build scalable leadership structures and develop future leaders.
Job Requirements
- You have several years of experience in senior engineering leadership roles (e.g., Head of, Director).
- You have demonstrable experience leading multiple teams and successfully scaling engineering organizations.
- You possess a strong understanding of modern software architectures and organizational scaling.
- You have experience building data-driven organizations and managing via KPIs.
- You have practical experience with or a strong interest in applying AI in the engineering context.
- You demonstrate strong leadership, coaching, and stakeholder-management skills.
- You create clarity and alignment even in complex environments.
- You are fluent in English; German is a plus.

Requirements: - Fluent in English. - Bachelor's degree in Geology or a related field - Proven experience in geological interpretation, mapping, and field development within the oil and gas industry. - Preference for U.S. lower-48 experience - Proficiency in geological interpretation software and data management. - Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote team environment. - Familiarity with basic Python for data analysis is a plus. - 1-10 years experience working as a Geologist preferred.
