A Day in the Life The surgical robotics utilization team manages all aspects of system installation, start-up, customer training, account analysis, drive and optimize the robotic program. Placement of a HUGO surgical robot in the hospital requires full-time support for an account specific period to ensure successful integration into the hospital’s service lines. The utilization team members are seasoned professionals with in-depth knowledge of the healthcare value chain as well as a broad experience across multiple disciplines. They partner with all relevant hospital stakeholders to drive complex transformational changes, implement innovative growth strategies, streamline patient-focused care pathways and optimize operations. Medtronic (NYSE: MDT), the largest and most successful medical technology company in the world is entering the market of Robotic Assisted Surgery (RAS). We are seeking talented individuals that are eager to use all their skills and competencies to quickly deploy our ground-breaking robotic assisted surgical therapies to patients, surgeons and hospitals in several countries in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA). Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned: As a start-up specialist you will be responsible for the successful integration of our HUGO™ RAS-system into a hospital. This might be an expansion of a current robotic surgery program, the creation of a new robotic surgery program or a shift from another platform to our HUGO™ RAS-system. The main activities of a start-up specialist include: - Meet with the robotic program stakeholders and develop program goals and metrics for HUGO™ RAS-system. Conduct regular program review meetings to remain on-track - Develop a surgeon training plan, coordinate attendance at Medtronic’s off-site training and arrange for proctored cases post-training as needed - Develop a training plan to support staff to include attendance at a Medtronic off-site training class and support staff through their learning curve - Support the technology adoption by attending to cases during a surgeon and staff member’s learning sessions - Utilize change management techniques to engage clinical stakeholders and attain buy-in - Coach hospitals’ staff to promote skill transfer and achieve self-sufficiency in operational excellence - Cooperate with Medtronic field service engineer (FSE) and the hospital staff to prepare the operating room to host the HUGO™ RAS-system. Required Knowledge and Experience: - Bachelor’s Degree at a minimum (Biomedical Engineering, Nursing, etc.); Preferably Master’s Degree. - Fluent in Polish and English. The ability to speak more languages is a plus - Willingness to travel throughout your country (>75%). - Demonstrable experience over 2 years, including relevant knowledge and experience of operating rooms and surgery procedures. - Ideal hiring location for this role will be Katowice/Wrocław. Job Summary: The Housing Supports and Services Specialist III -NV plays a vital role in administering the Housing Supports and Services Program, specifically providing In Lieu of Services (ILOS) for Nevada Medicaid. This position is responsible for coordinating comprehensive strategies for eligible members, ensuring they receive the necessary support to secure and maintain stable housing. The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of housing resources, community services, and best practices in tenancy support, along with a commitment to advocating for members' rights and needs. Essential Functions: - Coordinate specialized care management for eligible members, including intake and screening, member assessments, and the development of individualized service plans tailored to meet housing needs. - Develop and implement screening tools to identify member preferences, barriers to successful tenancy, and available options and resources to secure housing. - Conduct thorough searches for available housing and present members with suitable housing options that align with their needs and preferences. - Ensure effective service coordination by utilizing data systems for housing, such as Homeless Management Information Systems, to track member progress and resource availability. - Assist members in securing housing by providing support with housing applications, gathering required documentation, and accessing other benefits that promote housing stability, including SSI, SNAP, and housing vouchers. - Help members maximize their allowable benefits under community social services and the Housing Supports Program to subsidize rent costs and utilize ILOS-covered benefits for housing-related expenses. - Assist members with requests for reasonable accommodations to ensure their housing needs are met. - Communicate and advocate on behalf of members with landlords; facilitate landlord education and engagement; provide coaching to members on developing and maintaining relationships with landlords and/or property managers. - Maintain familiarity with Continuum of Care standards and guidelines for the region, collaborating with CoC workgroups and housing service organizations to mitigate tenancy risks. - Possess knowledge of Public Housing Agencies and eligibility guidelines for voucher programs such as Housing Choice, Section 202, and Section 811. - Coordinate in-home health care services and supports as needed to ensure care is available to members in support of successful tenancy and home living. - Identify, coordinate, and assist with funding for non-emergency, non-medical transportation to enhance members' mobility and access to housing resources. - Create housing sustainment plans for members, including monthly budgets, and provide early intervention for behaviors that may jeopardize housing stability (e.g., late rental payments, hoarding, substance use, or lease violations). - Educate members on their rights and responsibilities as tenants and landlords under the Fair Housing Act, empowering them to navigate housing challenges effectively. - Connect members with community resources to prevent eviction when housing stability is at risk, ensuring they receive timely support. - Provide independent living and life skills education and training, including budgeting, financial literacy, employment support, and connections to community resources to foster housing stability. - Perform any other job related duties as requested.
