Financial Controller
TTM Technologies
Role Description The Financial Controller will lead the accounting operations for TTM Technologies Europe (Finland, The Netherlands and the United Kingdom) including India and Israel. The position is responsible for the timely and accurate reporting on the monthly financials and the handling of all financial duties for this region. This position also prepares reporting to the organization management team. Duties and Responsibilities: - Oversee the monthly financial close process and ensure the accuracy and quality of the financial statements - Manage accounting staff - Review and approve journal entries and account reconciliations - Prepare monthly reporting package for business unit leaders - Oversee accounts payable support to ensure timely and accurate payments - Provide GL codes for invoices - Approve the expenses - Payment of CIT and VAT taxes - Verify accuracy and timeliness of payments - Release payments from the various bank accounts for the UK, India, Netherlands, Finland and Israel - Support payroll process - Prepare funding requests and release payments from the various banks - Pull payroll reports and ensure expenses are properly recorded in the GL - Review and approve payroll entries - Support the onboarding and/or termination of employees - Support the creation of management fee invoices with the staff accountant and transmit the invoices to the appropriate parties at month end - Prepare payments to settle the invoices monthly - Monitor bank activity - Make sure all transactions are accounted for each month - Payments are properly applied to AP invoices - Balances are adequate to cover expenses and payrolls - Work with the accounting firms and TTM tax department - Evaluate firms’ performance, recommend improvements in TPA engagements - Annual audits and creation of audited financial statements - Corporate income tax filings for the various countries - Quarterly VAT tax filings for The Netherlands and UK - Timely filing of all tax related items - Review and approve tax filings including the India GSTR filings - Manage the auto leases - Maintain relationships with all service providers - Ensure all legal and statutory requirements for the various countries are fulfilled - Perform finance business partner role for this organization and support the Vice President, Sales, EMEA - Prepare budgets and forecasts - Review operational results - Provide analysis on proposed actions/plans Qualifications - Understanding of the accounting rules and regulations across multiple countries in Europe as well as India and Israel. - People management skills to effectively coordinate with stakeholders for this region, keeping employees engaged and growing in their roles. - Proficient at building strong working relationships with cross-functional teams and leaders throughout the organization. - Ability to communicate effectively through all communication methods.
