Cloud Engineer
ClassLink
• Work in a fast-paced, Agile/Scrum engineering environment and deliver incremental product software with high quality. • Assist in design, development and implement of cloud technologies • Establish service uptime, and build the necessary telemetry and alerting platforms to enforce them • Create, maintain and evolve concepts in continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for existing and new services. • Help in deployment of Cloud solutions • Write clean, stable and safe code • Collaborate with Engineering and Product teams to improve automation of workflows, infrastructure, code testing and deployment. • Identify systems that can benefit from automation, monitoring and infrastructure-as-code and develop and scale products and services accordingly. • Create tools to empower developers to manage production infrastructure
Job Requirements
- 2-5 years of experience in DevOps or Systems Engineer
- Experience/knowledge of JIRA and Scrum methodology a plus
- Knowledge of basic networking concepts (SSL, Ports, DNS, Firewall, Routing)
- Experience with cloud technologies and pipelines
- Exposure to cloud services and Git
- Experience with monitoring and log aggregating frameworks
- Knowledge of networking concepts.
- AWS Certification(s) such as Solutions Architect Pro, DevOps Engineer Pro, SysOps Admin, Developer Associate preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Master’s Degree preferred.

• As a Cloud Ops Administrator you will be responsible for configuring, monitoring, and managing the cloud instances of CBN STI solutions for our North American customers. • Manage and provide ongoing support to ensure they remain highly available, reliable, and secure. • Install, configure, and maintain services, instance nodes, networks, and other IT infrastructure components. • Design, maintain, and improve infrastructure‑as‑code and automation pipelines to reduce manual operations and improve reliability and repeatability. • Monitor system and database instances performance, identify issues, and optimize performance. • Implement and manage security measures to protect systems and databases instances from unauthorized access and threats. • Develop and implement backup and recovery plans to ensure services and instances are ready and available 24/7 and on demand. • Provide technical support for systems and instances in test and production environments. • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for system and database configurations, changes, processes, and procedures.
• The Cloud Engineer is responsible for managing Netrix and its customers' IT infrastructure (on-prem/hosted and cloud environments) • Responding to alerts generated by monitoring and operational tools • Assessing events that require investigation, • Coordinating or performing initial remediation as needed • Contribute to small-scale projects, ongoing tuning and optimization of monitoring and alerting systems • Proactive maintenance activities such as patching and remediation to ensure platform stability, performance, and security • Document configurations, procedures, and best practices; maintain accurate technical documentation • Participate in client onboarding, delivery, and internal continuous improvement initiatives • Follow documented Change and Problem Management processes for Netrix and its customers
