JOB DESCRIPTION: The Therapy Business Manager is responsible for driving sales performance and business growth across the assigned territory. The role focuses on achieving sales targets through effective territory management, distributor and customer engagement, brand promotion, and ethical business practices. The incumbent will lead and guide the field team, ensure strong market presence, and contribute to the overall success of the division. Key Roles and Responsibilities Business Planning & Territory Management - Develop and execute monthly and quarterly business plans aligned with overall sales objectives. - Drive trade activation initiatives and ensure effective demand generation and fulfillment. - Monitor actual sales performance versus plans, analyze variances, and implement corrective actions. - Identify and appoint potential distributors and trade customers in line with business strategy. - Maintain a structured prescription audit of company brands and key competitor products. Sales Growth & Product Promotion - Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets by promoting company products ethically and effectively. - Build and nurture strong relationships with key doctors and chemists for consistent product promotion. - Organize and execute Continuing Medical Education (CME) programs, camps, and brand activities as per division strategy. - Implement merchandising and sampling initiatives to enhance brand visibility and prescription generation. - Support the launch of new products by identifying target customers, planning promotions, and capturing market feedback. Customer & Team Management - Ensure effective customer coverage and engagement as per the customer management plan, including 100% doctor coverage. - Track call averages, retail-level inventory, and market intelligence to support therapy and division strategy. - Supervise and guide the distributor network to ensure optimal resource utilization and business outcomes. - Participate in strategic review meetings to ensure alignment with divisional goals and compliance standards. Brand & Market Development - Strengthen brand visibility and availability at the retail level through focused brand-building initiatives. - Plan and execute retail meets, market blitzes, and other promotional activities to drive sales growth. - Ensure compliance with company policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements at all times.
